I suspect you jest but such people really exist, I’m one of them. When I realized that despite the efforts of my friends, me and alcohol that I don’t stand a chance at hooking up or even landing a date the traditional ways. I began to post in craigslist personals. Found it much easier to open up via email/texting and

I’m watching it for the first time. Halfway through season 3 now and oh my god this show is amazing. It’s so far above the majority of HBO’s other shows and yet you never hear about it anymore. No dumbass dragging out plots, no twists, no carrot on a stick to keep you watching. Just perfect character/world building,

Abandon new shows.

Hell yes - I finally dumped The Walking Dead two seasons ago when I realized I hadn’t been enjoying it for a long time, but I was kind of taken aback by how much it felt like a weight had been taken off my shoulders.

I feel like this is a good sentiment but you give terrible examples.

There’s been a lot of research that tends to come down on the side that providing open, non-shameful means for individuals to engage in sexual activities of their choosing provides exactly the kind of outlets that reduce rapey impulses in the population.

All this does is trivialize real sexual violence and harassment by playing into the trope about women being too hysterical to tell the difference between abuse and sexuality we find cringeworthy. Bad timing.

The Cincinnati Expansion will be, by far, the best team name in the league though.

To be honest, I’d take the trust fund over a statue any day.

The modern progressive sentiment that all art has to be everything for everyone got draining a while ago. The most recent example was the small strain of criticism for Black Panther not including a storyline highlighting LGBT issues through the Dora Milaje.

This just in: the Democrats don’t care about anything but money, either.

true. we would need one of the two parties to actually embrace progressive ideas for any movement to occur.

Not to mention that (nearly) all the “ships” in the space scenes are always on the same relative ‘plane’. In space, there is no up or down, so it would be nice to see more representations of the ships in different orientations, relative to each other.

If they made a Nextwave movie I would become so unspeakably erect they’ll have to bury me in a bent coffin.

Hopefully at least one of those five would have the good sense to extort money from John Skipper

Marvel built a film empire on the properties that no producers were interested in buying.
