I thought he’d be a good fit for the lead in “Mr. Jones - the Adam Duritz Story.”

The trailer was shockingly bad. If you can’t cobble together 30 seconds of decent footage to market your movie, don’t release it.
i honestly expected to see the argylle trailer before argylle. was happy i didn’t. was unhappy i saw argylle.
The only positive I can see with this film being released is I won’t have to see that goddamn trailer again in the theaters!!
This confirms my suspicions after seeing the trailer. I’m sure lots of Boomers in tie-dye will love it, though.
[Deleting my comment because another poster made the same joke first in the greys, and deserves credit for it.]
I don’t know how to tell you this, but actors often have to point guns at other people and pull the trigger on camera. That’s why productions employ armorers, and have guidelines and procedures in place to keep cast and crew members safe.
Exactly, and same for Leo. There can be only five nominees per category, and neither of them did better in their respective roles than the five actors whose performances got the nods. Both DiCaprio and Robbie are People’s Choice type actors whose “snubs” will always spur dumb lists like this one, but it’ll be the…
Margot Robbie didn’t get snubbed, I don’t think. She was perfectly good and did exactly what the role required, but it was hardly groundbreaking stuff. It’s exactly what you would expect from an A-list actor in a studio film.
I agree with both of these comments. I spent the first five years of my career as a criminal defense attorney, and I truly don’t get this prosecution. Sure you don’t have to have deliberation or criminal intent for involuntary manslaughter, but you do have to have a degree of recklessness or negligence that is much…
Exactly. Baldwin may be a huge tool, but there’s no way this is his fault unless he did something like grab the gun from the armorer prematurely, elbow him in the face and said, “Fuck off, let’s do this!”
If there is any proof that “cancel culture” is not real is the fact that they decided to make a movie based on a serial killer/rapist starring freaking Vincent Gallo and James Franco.
Fuck, I only found out about his politics about five minutes ago. Dude had a longstanding reputation as a piece of shit BEYOND that.
if we wants to pretend he’s some John Cassavetes type 70s maverick director, he should try making something like Opening Night or A Woman Under the Influence instead
Known creep is still a creep!?
A development that no one saw coming except everyone.
I’m not saying he did it, but it’s also the least shocking accusation that we’ve seen.
Ko Joy sucked but that Taylor Swift joke was so banal I cannot possibly fathom why people are offended. Yes, it’s true, the NFL has become embarrassingly obsessed with Swift ever since she started dating some NFL dude. That’s the joke. How is that offensive?
Everyone can deliver a bad performance. So, yes, - up until the point where he went: “Oh, it not my fault, MY jokes are funny, the other writers suck”.
“An 80-minute movie”—Oooh!
