Honestly- do you really have to point out that Ringo Starr was in the Beatles? Were you trying to save people the trouble of Googling his name?

Between this and what’s going on in Ukraine, I don’t know if I’ll still be able to get out of bed in the morning.
I understand that, of course. But I’ve seen cancer play out for three different people, and the agony they eventually experience isn’t like something out of a movie (I’m not saying you think it is.) With each person, I kept being reminded of a concentration camp, and I viewed their deaths as a merciful, much-needed end…
Not athlete’s foot!
I feel you. My buddy was 44.
I’ve lost friends both ways- instantaneous and long declines via cancer. If given the choice - and I won’t be - I’ll take the quick version.
You should be arrested for introducing everyone to that image.
One of my dearest friends died from one while she was getting dressed to go to work about eight years ago. It was instant. She was 51 years old and, as far as she or any of us knew, she was perfectly healthy. No weight issues or high blood pressure, etc. Nothing.
I always thought “The Poseidon Adventure” and eight Oscar nominations were an unusual pairing.
Listen, I’ve actually sold two screenplays to the studios in my time, although they died in development hell, and the key thing that convinced me to give it a shot was the steadfast belief that I couldn’t write anything worse than half (two-thirds?) of the shit that gets made every year. It’s a perfectly reasonable…
That’s precisely what happened, to the point that it seemed like some producers were taking advantage of him and just marching him before the cameras. He agreed to the roles, but it was apparently often a tough thing to watch.
Especially if you were pregnant.
I was listening to Miles Davis at the time. I don’t believe he was pregnant, but I still very much enjoyed it.
Man, Beatty had to have some pull to get that movie financed! Can you imagine the pitch meeting at a studio??!
I think it ranks with Nicholson’s best.
Very weirdly, I watched about 45 minutes of it last night! And it’s still great. Diane Keaton has never been better.
I remember I saw “Chariots of Fire” the evening of the day that John Belushi died. It literally put me to sleep.
I give them 18 months...although I would be dancing on that table and every table if I were fucking Jennifer Lopez.
Some AI needs to generate an audience to watch that shit and think it’s good.
I’d rather get hit in the head with a plank than watch this.
