Veloster all day long, fun to drive, reliable, 6MT is smooth as butter, the interior on the 2012-2017's were pretty nice, but the 2018 redesign made the interior very premium, the turbo is peppy, I haven’t driving a gen 2, but my gen 1 non turbo has a bit of pep, but the turbo would be better.

agreed I had a ‘89 2 door SE 5 speed, car was kind of fun for college age me, was pretty reliable, I only replaced the distributor and clutch in it.

yeah totally agree here, chevy would get all the same cars and pontiac would just end up dead again!

Not a car perse, but I always thought GM could bring Pontiac back as a tesla fighter, Pontiac was the excitement division (not that it really was all the time lol), usually featured tech not found on other gm’s, and gosh I miss pontiac..

I was ready to like it enough, front looks nice, side profile is ok, but OMG that rear end is hideous!!

Veloster Turbo, should be able to find first gen, or early second gen for under budget. Smooth 6speed, turbo is reasonable fast, don’t get a 2013 turbo as the turbo grenade-ed the engines too often.  My 2013 6MT has been very reliable, even without a turbo its fun to drive!
