First Gear:
so a less durable/safe bug? let’s do it!
yeah end of last summer I think, this is the more PC version.....
had the same problem on my veloster, lube guy had to have used an impact wrench, ended up using the screw driver technique.. messy but affective!
If someone hasn’t posted already, get a Veloster, great car for road trips, you can go 80 and not notice it, handles well, power in the turbos is better (duh), my non turbo gets 38 mpgs!
I looked at ‘88 Fiero GT’s on ebay and they are more than the ask for this. Is it “someone else’s project”? yes. I voted NP cause I want one someday and the price is good, but then I looked back at what was done and missing and now I regret that vote lol
I was un aware of the ncis rift, interesting!
I love my ‘13 Veloster 6MT (wish it had more power) and will upgrade it in a few years to maybe a rspec/n, or I may go mazda 3 turbo. But I hope the rumors of its demise are un true.
I missed this article, I hope it turns out not to be true, loving my ‘13 base veloster, but in a few years I want to upgrade to a turbo/rspec, then again I would go used again lol. I wonder how many they sell each year in the us?
As a 2013 Veloster owner I take issue with this statement! Actually I don’t (lol) performance is adequate at best, handling is great tho, and I love rowing through the silky smooth 6 speed. It could use 20-30 more ponies, which they have in the new ones.
I’ve long thought resurrecting Pontiac as a Tesla fighter would be a win for GM.
Also rob cheated someone in the comments for the GoldWing pointed this one out I almost lost my breakfast then, seeing it in person makes me want to go on a hunger strike lol
34 as of this min lol show yourselves!
my bad, I meant first gear had no syncro, 2-4 did!
Having learned to drive a stick on a 63' XKE (no syncro 4 speed), I love seeing this. My dad (and friends) restored one in the early 80's, never looked this nice! Guessing these were restored by the factory, also wonder how much lol
I had an 89' 2 door SE 5speed, this was the facelift year (inside and out). Was one of my favorite cars, plenty of power great gas mileage, only maintenance was a clutch at 70k. Problem is my dad and I did it and lost the drain plug for the tranny, after 6 months of keeping it topped off I sold it (disclosed the…
unless I’m wrong, Nomads were middle/late 50's.
is this why I found it kind of charming? (also a Veloster owner) it surely is a shitbox, one I didn’t know existed, a nomad wow.. ND for me, maybe $2500 I would change my mind.
its fantastic, I was so angry at the end (and crying) at the nasa managers who say “they sleep well at night cause they made the right decision at the time” I was like WTH!
