This! I almost went to wiki to verify this, but the legend was just a fancy accord, which was fwd.  Come on Justin, has quarantine messed with your head? hehehe

Right? I hate when they say this in commercials for pharms (aside from there are just too many ads these days for them), also “don’t share needles” in ads for diabetes!

He wanted a manual, well I guess preferred was his request.

LOL, made me question my sanity a second!  Thx for the walk down memory lane

Well then I’m remembering it wrong, I was def in the room when he was talking about it! Could of swore it was him registering the domain, it was some time ago for sure!  I was IT for Gawker inc back then.

I was in the room when Denton coined the name, it started as a gawker site.

Agreed 100%, even the 90's shit show that was Ponitac was better than anything buick was pedaling. This coming from an owner of a ‘93 GrandAm GT hahaha (which on its second head gasket was traded in on a ‘00 Pathfinder)

Plus 1 for the stick :-)

Wow David with the sensible option! Tom’s as always fits well too. I like a GTI/Veloster for this myself, good luck with the new pup!

Just scroll up and click the comment bubble, they will load.

Isn’t that raised because of the engine?

The real issue was folks not reading the manual and not keeping the tires inflated properly, swing axel design requires different tire pressure to keep handling safe(ish).

I feel like we had similar childhoods, basically the same, except our last family Pontiac was a ‘83 Grand Prix. I then bought an ‘89 Sunbird SE (5speed), and a ‘93 Grand Am GT (HO Quad 4/5speed). I do miss Pontiac, perhaps they could come back as the electric car division to take on Tesla?

Growing up I learned to drive a stick in a ‘63 E-Type convertible, man you couldn’t stall that I6 it was so torquey! Drove it a few times when my dad was out of town, once he came back early to put his hand on the hood and I was grounded lol. My last times were dallying it for a few weeks to my summer job until I

Congrats david! I have to admit I’m kind of jealous whenever you post these, my wrenching days are over (for awhile), living in nyc and because of back problems I can’t lift anything more than 10lbs kind of kills it!

I also miss the space shuttle! It was truly an amazing technical achievement being built by the lowest bidder. It may have never lived up to promises, but it did many amazing things given it was designed in the 70's a-mist constant budget pressure.  I look forward to the US sending our own astronauts into space again

He’s not doing MOAB (isn’t it cancelled anyways?)

Total joke this week, I get that its funny to suggest stuff like an ampicar or a 70's caddy but come on!

Great post!

Yes they did, I would love a vibe with the 6speed!
