That was the best car at it’s price during the 90’s. It also was one of the most powerful with the Type II motor.

Agreed, the E30 M3 is a great car but it’s so overrated. It drives nice but to even say the E90 is leagues ahead is an understatement.

For the 997TT that couldn’t have been a 2009. It had to be a 2010+ car with the 3.8 Direct injection turbo motor. The PDK didnt start coming until 2010 in the 997.2 TT. :)

Not really. I imagine that it is very underrated. Burger Tuning just did a basic tune and the car yielded 438 WHP (15 more WHP than an F80 M3. . .on the same dyno) This is a very powerful car.

I agree, and that’s coming from someone who’s owned 4 E46 M3’s, a supercharged E90 M3 sedan, an E60 535i M Sport and now an F30 328i xDrive M Sport. The new electric steer, school bus suspension on xDrive and size of the car (while nice) offer nowhere near the level of communication that the predecessors did. Sad.
