I respect your opinion entirely. That said, its just pure coincidence with the E46 M3's. The E36 isn't an M3 and believe it or not one of my most favorites so far was my recent E60 535i, it was just such a well made car that drove spectacularly for its size, it was practical and pretty decent on fuel (even with Cobb

Don't. I've owned multiple models and our house is a like a BMW whorehouse between 4 E46 M3's, a current E36 project and a current E90 M3 with ESS-VT600 supercharger kit with Meisterschaft exhaust. I like that the i8 is loaded with tech, but I can't help but feel that it isn't a perfect 10 beauty being their

This > i8. (That's coming from a BMW fanatic)

Haha, I like what you did there :)

They can't be fucking serious. I've seen Chinese copies, but this is a whole new low.

I heard it was something more like 1000 lb/ft. I could be wrong though.

I'm not saying you haven't, but anyone who has ever said the GTR is soulless usually hasn't driven one. It's an incredible machine capable of incredible things. For the 99% that aren't Randy Pobst, it is wildly entertaining from behind the wheel.

No V8 = "garbage" . . . hmmm, I'm not quite sure about that one, look at the VR38DETT in the GTR. That certainly isn't "garbage". I mean I totally understand the new V6 TT not paying homage to the V8's of GT's past, but this new V6 certainly isn't "garbage". I reckon we'll see some incredible numbers and

You and me both along with maybe one other passenger.

I can think of a few easily:
1. Honda relibility

The F1 had godlike beauty.

I promise you, this car will run circles around a base 911 and maybe even a Carrera S with 400 HP.

Seen this many times over the past year. Believe it or not, it makes over 700 HP (apparently way more than that). This guy has owned an NSX as well, long before they were even considered classics and could be had for low 20's.

The Metro. . . 53 city MPG/58 hwy MPG. . . . in 1992!!!

Sweeeeeet jesus. At that price, its justifiable to buy it and have it as a driveway ornament.

There's a legitimate fix for the IMS issue. The S54 in the M3 is prone to valve problems, there was a huge recall. Rod bearing and cracked subframes are a whole other issue. We've had 3 E46 M3's in our household over the past 6 years, they're excellent cars. . . .when well maintained. In our case, we've been lucky

2002 E60 530i, it needs very little TLC, it looks well maintained. I reckon you can get a polyurethane E39 M5 M technik bumper and a set of wheels and stay within the $6000 budget and it'll look bad ass. This one has to be a top pick, Because: manual aka the man pedal.

The car in the photo above for the article is an EXCELLENT option. We've had no less than 5 Maxima's in our household throughout the years and they've all been super reliable. None of them were bought new. In fact the third one I had was a 99 4th gen GLE purchased for $4500 in 2002 with a salvage title that was

I've had several Supras, one of them was an MKIII. It was a Turbo model with a 60-1 Turbonetics turbo and built motor. It was a whale and didn't handle exceptional, it was acceptable. What it did do however was haul serious ass. I remember destroying E46 M3's and 996 C4S on the freeway on many occasions.
