So bummed its only a 30 minute special and not another season. This was such a great show in every way.

I was having a horrible day until I read this. Fall can not come soon enough.

Game over, man.

I don’t like Roseanne. She’s coarse and rough and irritating, and she gets everywhere.

I took it a step further and thought it was a conspiracy film about how astronauts “cheated” to get to space.

Nope, you’re legally not allowed to talk about how bad things are if there’s something out there worse. Can’t talk about how you have a cold, because imagine if it were cancer. Can’t talk about police brutality, because hey, there’s still human trafficking. Can’t talk about Miller Lite because there’s still craft

Look, I don’t come here for political propaganda, even less, political propaganda for 12 years old. I am aware of the general political orientation of this site and of the people reaction in the comments and I have no problem with it, agreeing with many points, but there is a limit. I am not even American so really

Seems like you can stand it?

Show. Don’t tell. It’s one of the oldest and best rules of writing, and it’s something that lesser sci-fi never seems to learn - instead preferring giant expo-dumps and flat-out stating. This is why The Expanse rocks. Same way we learn that Chrisjen isn’t in her “world” any more, when Bobby orders her to take off her

I know what you mean about Leslie Jones; she seems like a warm and genuine person. (Someone else whom I get the same feeling about is Molly Shannon.)

Nevertheless, I must admit that I am not impressed with Jones’ talent. Of all the performers on Saturday Night Live  who appear in sketches, including the featured

Worst live sketch performer the show has ever had.

I do not enjoy her comedy stylings, but good for her. I hope her show is smart and successful.

J.J. Abrams has signed on to do a sci-fi thriller starring CGIODB... that’s pretty much the same thing, right?

I’m with you in principle, but it does unnerve me how much the psychological motivation and satisfaction seems to kindof be the same as the radical right’s obsession with “triggering the libs”.

When that movie came out I was in high-school and had access to really really cheap theaters (on a Navy base) so I and my friends watched Event Horizon about 6 times.. mostly because there was a scene with boobies.

The sixth season could consist solely of Zach Woods having sleep deprivation mental breakdowns and screaming abuse at strangers and I’d absolutely watch it.

“We thought you were a stallion!”

Silent Running was slow, but worth watching, I thought back when I saw it in the pre-Star Wars mid-70s. I recently rewatched it, in anticipation of showing it to my young son, but it’s way too boring for him.

You’re clearly overlooking the in-the-works “You Were Never Really Herring”, starring J.P. about a NYC writer who decides to treat writer’s block by becoming a fisherman in Norway. The “school” teaches him how to deal with life when he “flounders”. Also, his name is “Gil Bass”
