If you are new to Macross, you should start with Frontier. It’s quite new and entertaining. Macross Plus, Macross 2 and Do You Remember Love are the top three in my list. (not listing them in any particular orders, mind you) Macross Zero was good also but I found its ending quite a bit unfulfilling.

I found Macross Delta somewhat unwatchable

Really? I can’t believe Macross Delta and Sousei no Onmyoji are not on the lists. These two are the top most disappointment show this season for me while Ace Attorney coming at the 3rd place.

I think this anime suffered a lot from 12 episodes format. I wished it could be at least 22 episodes just like Your Lie in April. Seem like the anime was timed to finish at the same time as manga. (for preventing spolers, maybe) And that’s why the later part of the show was rushed as hell.

It’s better than the first one. Since I'm now already get used to the art, I’m starting to enjoy it.

Wow, I’m glad they redo the transformation scenes. The CGI from the first two seasons was very ugly and that was part of the reason why I dropped the show. I cannot understand why they used CGI, tbh. Considering that it turned out to be even uglier than hand-draw of the 90's version.
