That happens to me all the time in every Dragon Quests... and I never learn.

Totally agreed with you on this one. Toning down the violence really has a huge impact on the show; it makes most the events make less sense. For example, the Japanese government used the casualties of the Ginza incident as pretexts to invade the Special Region, but, that wasn’t clear to the viewer (to me, at least)…
I didn’t enjoy the first ep. of Shimoneta and dropped it. I think it tried too hard to be funny with those pervert jokes, but, well.. I might be too hasty to judge the show based on its first impression. Might consider going back and watch it.
No. Alpha is when the game is in the state of prototyping. Beta means the game is ready for testing and debugging. Anyway, either the game is in beta or alpha, it suppose to be buggy. Just like the what he said, people should not confuse beta launch with demo. They are not the same and never will be.
the final const after the parameter list is my favourite. It indicates idSurface::Split() won’t modify the surface itself. This is one of my favourite C++ features missing from other languages. It allows me to do something like this:void f(const idSurface &s) {
One thing I really hate about this show is, it’s too short. They should go for 24 episodes format instead of 12. I don’t read the LN, so, I don’t know whether they already covered all available source materials, but ending the show like that left too much bad taste in my mouth. The ending was lame and predicable. Yes,…
We must watched the different show, then. Because, for me, SAO’s second season is much boring than the first season, especially the Excalibur and Mother Rosario arcs. And yet, the first season was not high in my ranking either.
I didn’t know this manga before and it turned out to be a big surprise for me. The first ep. was really solid and I really like the idea of reality vs. fantasy. This show gonna be awesome, I believe.
It’s the later. I’m not tying to justify her actions here, mind you. Just want to explain her reasoning since it was left out from anime. The Guana has not yet attacked Sidonia so far but Kobayashi believe that human and Guanas cannot co-exist, thus, she will use any mean necessary to eliminate them.
Kobayashi was trying to recover Ochiai’s technologies which were stored in his auxiliary brain, but, since the very same technology that used to create Tsumuki almost caused total disaster to Sidonia hundreds years ago, the councils felt that she might repeat the same mistake and that’s why they were trying to remove…
Actually, her boobs were not really inflated. They were gradually developed, but she hid them. This part was explained in the manga, but, too bad, the explanation was lost in anime.
One more thing, I was very disappointed at the battle of the Planet 9. If I remember correctly, that battle was the most intense battle of the entire series. Too bad it was cut short in the anime. This season seriously lacks intense actions.
The largest problem with the second season of Knights of Sidonia is the pacing. In a lot of ways, it feels like we are watching an abridged version of the story.
I love both of them, tbh. For me, this show has the best OP and ED of this season.
I didn’t catch that joke at first. Thanks to you, now I’m laughing my ass off lol
This is a tech demo from an academic paper which was presented at a computer graphics seminar. In short, this is not meant to be a technology being used in any game yet. You might be surprised to know this, but almost all the technologies we are using were invented years ago before they became products.
After he’d been traumatised for an entire life, you think he still need to continue living in depression? I don’t see any problem with that ending, honestly. It was one freaking whole year after Kaori has passed away, if you could remember it. It’s time for him to move on. And that’s the main theme of the show. The…
The only things I found lacking about this show are its OP/ED. Being a music anime, I was a bit dissapointed that, except for Hikaru Nara, the other OP/ED are very forgettable. Aside from these, I love every single moment of this anime. The art, the story, the comedy, the tragedy, they are all master pieces. After…
I think Watari has never thought about being in serious relationships with anyone to begin with. He was dating another girls while he’s with Kaori, remember? And I think that’s the reason why Kaori choose him, aside from using him to get close to Kousei, since he won’t feel much heart breaking after she passing away.
Moreover, when the coffee shop ghouls find out about this, instead of running away to avoid conflict, they decide to stay and fight the police in a certain bloodbath—despite the fact that they have sworn off killing to the point that they eat the corpses of suicide victims rather than hunt humans for food. Again, this…
