Are you sure you don't mean "in hell"?
Are you sure you don't mean "in hell"?
But did she? It sounded to me as though she says EYEdina Menzel. Twice.
If that's true, then it makes perfect sense. Because Idell Mazine is almost a perfect flip-flop of the second syllables in her name.
Which was sweet, except it was obviously a support/pity standing O, and she knew it. They didn't stand up for a few seconds, like "oh are we doing this? Okay then!", and she tilted her head to the side when it started like, "aw, thanks guys! But really I just want to get offstage."
I love what Ellen was trying to do there — EXCEPT that to me it sounded like she was saying EYEdina Menzel, twice!
So, Robin, do you still think "What a pleasure it is to degrade a woman"? Because that attitude sure seems to be working out for you!
Oh my god, I love that! I'll remember that if ever I catch an effective bouquet and have a wedding to throw..
Jealous! Every wedding I go to, everyone acts like they're too cool to try for the bouquet. And I love the tradition, but it's super-lane to be the only one out there...
No worries. I thought you meant that you've never done it before, but despite your lack of throwing-a-wedding experience, you're pretty sure it will go fine.
Really? To me, it sounds like an intestinal parasite.
How about blowdrying the water stain with a hair dryer set on low? Evaporate the water, remove the water ring.
That's a great point, but it might be preaching to the choir. I fear that the same people who think rape=sex also probably wouldn't recognize prostitute rape. Or marital rape, for that matter. They'd think it's the woman's JOB to get fucked, and if she's claiming rape, then she just wasn't doing her job right.
The two guys at the end was the only one that even vaguely resembled a kiss between two humans. Gays for the win!
Because Bowie, obviously.
I remember Kensit being touted as such a huge deal in this little movie that almost no one saw. It was weird press, but that's where I first heard of her.
And that was an article entitled "Mia's Story," which was clearly told from her side/perspective! Which is probably why the article presented it as NBD, now that I think about it - because that's how Mia herself saw it.
For the record, I have always been anti-Mia, as I remember her psycho bitchiness at the time it was happening. But one can be anti-Mia without being against Dylan. I pity all these kids.
Here's a problem I have with this whole situation (aside from the obvious fact that a bunch of dysfunctional people are airing their dirty laundry in the court of public opinion instead of in the actual courts)—
Mia's credibility is in fact relevant, because false memory syndrome is a real, proven, incredibly sad…
