I defended Sons for weeks, but eventually I realized that it wasn't a slow build so much as it was a poorly written season. The last 30 minutes or so were excellent, but it was slow as molasses with not much happening and a couple of bad plot holes.

The League
was exponentially better than many of the shows on this list. I'd probably put it at 16 or 17. DEFINITELY better than Huge and US of Tara, probably better than Sunny, whose first half was a sputtering mess.
