I don’t drink a lot of sodas in my adult life, but I picked up a sixer of these last week to use the bottles for wasp traps in the yard. This is a dope diet soda. It tastes a LOT more realistic than DDP. It’s only like 10% off of the taste and probably 25% off of the syrupy mouth-feel of DP. If you like Dr Pepper but

Well, not the entire country.  More like half the country.  Guess which half.

No fucking shit restaurant workers don’t want to go back.

In today’s world, it is assumed everyone has typing skills and that spellcheck will catch any errors, yet attention to detail is a desired skill. Proofreading and knowing the fundamentals (this includes proofreading a spellchecked document) is necessary in the business world to not experience embarrassing errors.

You buy “alkaline water,” you kind of deserve whatever you get, yeah?

Real Water is a premium, drinking water with 9.0 pH that utilizes the proprietary E2 Technology, making it the only drinking water on the market that can maintain a stable negative (-) ionization. Since Real Water is alkaline with a 9.0 pH and negative ionized, it can help your body to restore balance and reach your

Not sure how Miami qualifies for this, other than them being a large market and it’s a cheap shout out.

friendly reminder: if you serve rock solid butter you are most likely an axe murderer

It’s a rock solid trademark infringement case, and demonstrates the plaintiffs aren’t simply pursuing legal action for the Halal of it.

I’m definitely against content stealing but I think I’d be hard pressed to believe the long intro isn’t just for SEO and to increase visit duration for ad purposes.

From other things I’ve read, this is basically all a Google problem. If someone just posts the recipe, Google punishes their rank in the results. Which has caused people to add all the historical context to stay in the search results.

This is where the “print recipe” button is very helpful. Just about every recipe site I visit has it. It gives the entire recipe in a clear “print view.” Usually on a single page (or scaled to the screen). Usually directly linkable (if you want to bookmark/save).

It certainly sounds like blog writers, who depend on metrics that require readers to spend time on the page to generate income, don’t want to relinquish control of how users access the advertised information. If only someone could teach the foodie blogs to use godforsaken slideshows to maximize clicks before being

I appreciate hearing the side of the conversation that is actively being mocked by memes. I think we have to understand though that while some people are passionate about cooking and have a craving for understanding and learning more about it, others are just trying to cook something for their family after a hectic

According to all the bloggers upset over the tool in the thread you referenced, it seems to have very little to do with historical information and context and entirely to do with ads & clicks. The history/context shtick seems to be a façade for ‘we have to add filler for the money’ which is fine. People should make

The only thing I ever ask for is that the dividing line be relatively clear. Give me a ‘and now, time for the recipe,’ sentence then an actual recipe.

I like using apps to order since it’s easier to customize your order that way. Trying to explain a a custom order through a drive thru speaker is torture.

To me, all of this innovation is unnecessary.  Imo the best way to streamline the process is ordering from the app ahead of time.  Chipotle talking about having a separate drive through lane for mobile ordering is a great idea, face recognition not so much, let alone license plate recognition (that's a big wtf)

Wife: *sees spam on counter in a bowl of water*”Just how drunk are you?

No, you can only make this work if you use those exact ingredients.
