That's a great book, but I remember the movie (miniseries?) as having good performances, but being hurt by a low budget.
Absolutely, Iggy makes a good case, but any interviews I've ever seen with M. Night (and he was everywhere when he was the new wunderkind) he came off as super pretentious and convinced of his own genius.
I feel that any comedy in The Happening is purely accidental.

Agreed. You "remake" a movie, but you "reboot" a franchise.
I liked GotG, but I liked it based on the strength of the performances and the production. A lot of the dialog was very on-the-nose and stilted.
Also, I assume Handler is the producer on her Netflix thing not just the talent.
Throw in the Yes Men, Penn and Teller, Michael Moore and Fat-suited Tyra Banks for an "Anchorman"-esque battle royale.
