A few forget obviously don’t put grease from cooking pans down the drain. Soooo many do this. My mom always has an empty coffee can she’d pour off the fat into eventually putting can in the garbage. I tried them all and found even the p-trap suffered from bad stuff like Draino, Foaming pipe snake. Get some Rid-x

Again, homes should be built to withstand how people use them. People drained pasta 35 years ago, too, and plumbing not being able to withstand boiling water is just plain stupid.

Nice Eagle! I was thinking AMC Eagle SX/4.

Well ... along with the Chevrolet Celebrity (who on earth came up with that name?!), it sold pretty well around here. Of course, that was competing with the Fox-platform LTD (a candidate for “Meh Car Monday”), and Chrysler’s emerging K-car series ... so hardly anything was “great” at that time.

They have this, it’s called the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge.

McAdoo says he is not interested in perceptions that he has lost the team.

For me there’s no question about whether 2M8 or not...

the nut on the bus goes pound pound pound

I’m a gun owner and have a semi-auto AR-style rifle that is a large enough caliber to hunt with in my state.

that would require lawmakers to actually know how a rifle works.

I thought about reloading, but it’s just too time consuming for a very casual shooter like me.

Personally I like the way Her made the street scenes look like the future by the cunning trick of... filming in Shanghai.

You mean the hundreds of communications satellites that are already in orbit, whose owner/operators would love to rent out for limited transmission time, would not work?

It would cost so, so much more money. The entire search has cost about $200 million, and the cost of putting a single satellite into orbit is between $50 and $400 million, which doesn’t include the cost of actually designing and building a satellite.

There is absolutely no reason why every commercial aircraft can’t be tracked by satellite, in real time, over every second of its journey. And there’s no reason why airline and safety officials can’t be notified immediately when a commercial aircraft enters an aerodynamic stall because the idiot pilots are

It took us eight years to find the Titanic, searching in earnest, it was bigger, in fewer pieces, and we kinda knew where it sank. Finding things underwater is hard.

Keep in mind that the lost plane was a 777 whose core design was completed in the 1980's. The lost plane was built in 2002. Airplanes are expensive... Even more expensive to retrofit with technology not originally designed into the airframe - especially when airlines in first world countries typically start retiring

hey, you can’t always get what you want

That’s a mighty big rant for someone that didn’t watch the video.

I had a seasoned tech tell me one time, “never, ever clean this car’s engine... grease is just about the only thing holding some of your sensors and their harnesses in place.”
