There is a lot of truth to this. Most of this is a “if we do not support the military, we are taking jobs” logic. So we are basically creating jobs that are not needed and spending money that could be used for other things. I honestly do not see a way out of it. Washington refuses to reform itself because it benefits

They only reason they want to build all this stuff is to create defense jobs in their district to boost re-election odds. The armed forces are getting hardware they don’t even want.

This is like sneaking and grabbing a jar of pasta sauce from around the large lady that’s obviously in no interest in making her decision with any haste. Yeah you look like a jerk, but it doesn’t hurt anyone.

I’m not even mad. The cop, however... sure, just stop right in the middle of the road for a pissant violation screwing up everyone else.

I don’t have a problem with the guy cutting the line in front of a box truck with trailer because the truck driver created a larger buffer than necessary in front and the traffic in front was moving. Yes, it is cutting but I don’t think the cutter impeded traffic behind him. Had the traffic in the lane be stopped

For those that don’t know that ramp...I’m completely ok with what he did.

Like 394 E before the 94 S junction in Minneapolis ?

Right? Doesn’t that kinda slow....er..... stop.... traffic entirely?

The enforcement of that infraction caused a far greater delay and traffic back up than any late merge maneuver would cause.

Too bad she only enforces this once a month... lady cops...

I’m confused. This isn’t the line at Starbucks. One extra car in front of you isn’t adding anything to your commute. If you do it with the flow of traffic, and no one has to slow down because you moved into a space that was already there, what’s the harm? If it only pisses you off because now they are in front of you

If there was no cop around it would’ve been legal.

If you no longer go for a gap that exists you’re no longer a racinghighway driver

“I’m more important than all these other law abiding chumps.”

Had he just done that 30 feet earlier it would’ve been legal.

Also love the completely random guy in the NY Rangers jersey.

Both teams made smart and prudent moves, though the praise for Houston is blunted by the fact that they signed Osweiler to begin with.

the self-driving trucks were so neat. The beauty of it is that they didn’t zoom in on them in a very obvious manner so you had to really be paying attention to catch that nobody was driving them.

Honestly the autonomous truck design looks the most mature and possible. The trucking industry is going to be rather disrupted by this kind of tech. The two modules is also extremely forward looking.

This engine didn’t come out of nowhere; it started life in a largely-forgotten supercar from Nissan.
