There goes the upselling profit margins.  Sales guys won’t be happy.

Low pressure doesn’t explain where the fuel went. It either leaked out or was burnt, they were running a little rich i think.

I think he’s sounding like a grumpy old man.  I can get that the headlights are made to have this carved inset look, they look fine in pics but seeing one one in the wild will tell.  Many cars are using the “carved from clay” look to add visual oomph with a few extra details.  Otherwise the soap bar look.

My in-laws got hosed big time by their GM dealer. They had a nice Cadillac sedan but the old lady wanted a new SUV just coming into style. They had to break their Caddie lease and ended up paying more per month for a used- Blazer and locked in longer term.

Recent years could be competition, the Hyundai/Kia twins for example beat Toyota on styling, features and cost, forcing Toyota to up their game. They probably otherwise would have stayed with slow evolution as per up to 2013.

That left shoulder looks to be three lanes wide, lots of room for growth there.  Around here the left lanes have been used up and there’s less than a car width before the median rails.

It’s just a nameplate though, today’s Camry has nothing else in common with the 90s version.

The Virgin craft looks like an upscale executive jet, nice big windows and luxe seating. Some neat application of available tech but not really a lot new.

Gliding with a motor assist, just extended the time in air.  But yes they eventually actually flew off the ground.

Lot of F -this and F-that with slo mo collisions and sparks flying.  Sure it will get eyeballs.

Smaller v60 makes more sense but that won’t last long either.

Multiple championships go to the player, one-offs like Villeneuve can be attributed to the the team. I think he lost some motivation chasing Hamilton and never got it back, after all he already has a full trophy case.

It’s a spherical pressure vessel designed for x psi, probably shop-tested to 1.5 or 2.0x. Maybe the hatch wasn’t dogged down properly or it was old and and at end of life-cycle. Steel is “plastic” but you can’t expand it by shock forever, fatigue cracks set it. Diving tanks, small propane tanks etc are only good

Similar to the old Avus track outside Berlin. A highway closed off by a wicked banked turn at one end and a tight flat left hander at the other. A true “hair pin” configuration.

They have legal binding contracts on their side, that’s how respectable people solve issues.  Now Montenegro can try to default or nationalize but unless they want to become like North Korea they have to play ball.

For me it was a regular paper on the newsstands, Autoweek maybe? Had race reports and great color photos a week or two after a race, plus the colorful drivers and team owners; Lauda, Hunt, Chapman et al.

BMW i8 belongs in crap era2. Too much too soon, tech wasn’t there yet to support the idea. Underpowered low range expensive car with great looks.

There’s a Mitsuoka C2 Corvette made out of a Miata, looks pretty good.

I think there is bus service to the north shore of Oahu but you’re on vacation...

They have Versas and convertible Camaros there.  We took the Versa.
