@iamjames: I gotta shoot for the stars, my man. And...I kind of need a job. So, there's that.

I'm shooting for a @lifehacker.com e-mail address.

@bimplebean: Lived in LA for 5 years. Rule number one: Stay the hell off the 405. Rule number two: If it's between 6:30am and 10:30am or 4:30pm and 10:30pm stay the hell off of the 1o1 or 118. Rule number 3: Safely ignore rules 1 and 2 on major Hacidic holidays. ^_^

I bought it. It's kinda fun. It's a little slow to start out...my skeleton guy is only level 1 still. But I got my leaky wooden chalice loot thing, which is kinda nifty. As a game, it really should have more for the price tag, but I don't really care. The motivation to actually keep tabs on things I need to do through

I love Top Gear. I don't want...this...to be our official entry into that franchise. These guys couldn't have personified "Jackass American" more if they wanted too.

@rmg203: Actually, it's not totally one sided. A lot of British producers, when approached about bringing a show stateside will opt to remake it. They get to come on as consultants ($$$), live duty-free stateside ($$$), and being bumped up to "Hollywood level" is a huge badge of honor for them. They WANT their shows

@StormtrooprDave: Think of it this way. You're not paying for the content, by any means. Your paying to cap out your maximum bandwidth to a high speed server with SSL encryption.

@mantiss1: Actually dude, I consider 26 minutes to be sad...I'll pull an entire series box set of DVDs in about an hour.

@Ricky Wilson: Full throttle MBps down, versus the (super boosted) 2MBps from Rapidshare. Depends on what you buy from your ISP...but I pull 15-20 MBps down.

@Kakkoii: I have a friend like you. He bragged about MU and RS, and chastised me for paying for anything at all.

@Ben Zvan: There's a difference between "aired out" and shared. There is a vetting process with the people in our lives to share certain details, aspects, thoughts, and experiences with different people. And for good reason.

Now that is a good read, Joel.

Here ya go, Joel.

This is both creepy and incredibly sad.

Are you kidding, Kyle? Tesla fanboys have existed for a long time. Underground scientists use him as a role model and inspiration, steampunk people model entire microcosms off his work. He's reverered in Sci-Fi, fantasy, and countless RPGs.

You know what? Screw the rest of you. This looks cool. It's a movie about a massive social phenomenon, and how it started. And I get the impression it's really well done.

Holy crap! Somebody else who listens to Bonobo!

I'm just...astounded here. My like/dislike list is completely opposite of yours.
