@rmg203: Actually, it's not totally one sided. A lot of British producers, when approached about bringing a show stateside will opt to remake it. They get to come on as consultants ($$$), live duty-free stateside ($$$), and being bumped up to "Hollywood level" is a huge badge of honor for them. They WANT their shows…

Are you kidding, Kyle? Tesla fanboys have existed for a long time. Underground scientists use him as a role model and inspiration, steampunk people model entire microcosms off his work. He's reverered in Sci-Fi, fantasy, and countless RPGs.
