This… just isn’t true? It’s certainly on a large (80%) sale right now, but Mario+Rabids is still $10 or $15 right now on the switch store, even with Nintendo Online.

This is so nice to make fun of someone with a disability
there actually hasn’t really been a loss of subscribers from the available information. In a previous article that said people were leaving gamepass Kotaku used a couple of people saying they unsubbed on twitter as evidence which is pretty paper thin.
Wasn’t there just an article on Kotaku a couple of weeks ago about how GP wasn’t going to have anything good on it for the summer? Maybe I’m just going crazy or thinking of an article from a different site. Either way I don’t have enough spare time to play all the way through anything, so there’s always something fun…
Also it’s weird saying this post is evidence that it’s heating up. Two games that came out last week and a handful of others, including a sports game year refresh. At least the departing list isn’t too bad.
I feel like when the next round of staff quit we are going to be getting a bunch of stories about editorial mandates to make certain narratives happen. Because its just on kotaku. Nobody else is trying to make this tory happen, but otaku keeps trying to push this one bad take
I also think there’s just a lot of focus on AAA titles, and - for me, at least - a pretty small portion of my time with GamePass stuff is spent with AAA games. I realize the AAA titles make the headlines - hence all the ‘Starfield and Redfall moved to 2023: is GamePass DONE?’ takes when those delays were announced -…
Kotaku are still sore they got ripped to pieces by the GP account. Kotaku is so fucking lame. (8) NewRadiant on Twitter: “@Kotaku Kotaku gets into embarrassing fight with gamepass, loses: https://t.co/0j8C3n2LkL” / Twitter
Came down to find this exact comment and support it. This narrative that Kotaku has had about Game Pass the last few months is really, really strange and does not line up with reality at all. Has Microsoft had a ton of first party games? No, but that’s a different conversation than saying Game Pass has had “no marquee…
For real, what rocky months? TMNT is great, Sniper Elite 5 is great, Bugsnax was great, Tunic is one of the best games to come out this year. And that isn’t even coming close to covering everything that came to the service over the past few months.
the only times I buy games at this point are when they are either super cheap or becoming harder to find (delisted for instance).
Not to mention there are hundreds of games there at any given time. Its been this narrative here for a while with the anti-game pass takes. But I’ve been playing tons of games pass games. I rarely even buy a game these days. I feel like Ari forgets that normal people don’t play every single game that hits and just…
Xbox Game Pass has had a rocky few months
is using UE cheating to make a game? what is this I don’t even
Lizzo didn't say how great it was to say "spaz" first
Look, people, he just wants to apologise and move on so he can get back to not writing.
I agree. It’s like, Sony just announced a ton of games at their show last week that were...mostly coming to every platform. The graphics nor the show ever touted these games as Sony exclusives just like the Xbox one didn’t tout them as Xbox exclusives. It just lists them as coming to Xbox, which is LITERALLY TRUE.…
Tbf I think Ari in particular is just basically salty about everything. It seems all their articles have to take snide swipes at whatever the subject matter is.
Sorry, John, but I did read your entire article. And yes, many of our opinions do run counter to your own because the argument isn’t simply “Diablo is exploitative” which you clearly understand, it’s that the exploitation it contains, the skinner box that ActiBlizzard uses to hack the brains of neuro atypicals who can…
