This is the 50th Squid Games clickbait article in 5 weeks!

If only there was someone on set whose job was to regularly check guns and ammunition and ensure that random people didn’t have access and couldn’t modify or “sabotage” equipment.

This headline is fucking gross

The tone of this piece - right down to the "Hilarious" Baldwin hopefully-a-typo - is fucking ghoulish.

I don't think the guy who wrote "Ellie Kemper finally releases statement on Veiled Prophet Ball controversy" is really in a position to pass judgement on paparazzi.

They just couldn’t resist making a catty pun on this “very sad” story.

I also love the revelation that while the armorer kept the weapons under lock and key (standard practice) she admitted that multiple people had access to it...which defeats the whole purpose of your job as armorer.

And for that statement alone, she should never again be employed as a firearms expert. Because it was her goddamn job to know, and someone was killed as a result.

I’ve noticed the same at a lot of GO sites. Missing links, captions without images, more typos than usual...

Sorry to be That Guy, but what has happened to the editing process at Kotaku as of late? Is it G/O cuts? Kinja jank? Both? So many pieces get published lately where you scan it for 30 seconds and you’re like oh wow, this is completely scuffed.

“But he was definitely misusing it...”

What the fuck are you talking about? What sources are suggesting he was misusing it or doing anything wrong? He probably pulled the fucking trigger because that was the scene! WTF

Where are you getting your information as to what occurred? Nothing listed in these articles or released gives any indication as to misuse of the prop by the actor. In fact it specifies that the discharge was *during* filming which suggests the prop was being used as intended.

Yeah, I came here just to say this, basically. FOH with that shit. No one should *ever* get to decide what is a legitimate/reasonable cause for changing one’s name; any comment of the stripe is generally unwarranted. Identity is identity and everyone is entitled to their own, full stop, and to insinuate otherwise is

Guess the new and improved AV Club likes to rake in clicks by taking the work of other sites but not having an actual link to them?

I’m not sure what you’re aiming for, but you missed it.

The article is for me. I’ve thought about picking up the game for the campaign and I have Game Pass so this is a win in my book. I don’t care about MMO’s (Be it from any studio) so I appreciate getting an article that targets people in my position.

“Obvious prank makes for great misleading article header

I knew this was in development for a while so I expected it to be at least competent but sadly it's so rough I uninstalled after about 15 minutes. It felt like a game jam game or someone's rough approximation of Tony Hawk made in something like Dreams, not a commercial release.

It literally is a white man attacking a black man. The Root didn’t make it that. It is that.
