The funny thing is that Altered Beast was entirely created by less than 5 people, and there are ‘indie’ games with staffs ten times that size these days.

The real radical change it needs is moving to more pre-taped content. The speed of digital cameras and digital editing have made it so much easier to put stuff together quickly, and if they didn’t have to worry about the logistics of it all being live, they could focus more on the sketches and using their hosts’…

Streaming will, eventually, be the future. It’s come for film and TV, and it will come for games. On a good connection (anything over 100mbps), it can be virtually indistinguishable from playing on a home console. On a great connection (200mbps plus), it’s practically magic how well it works.
