He’s out 9 months after signing Lebron, which he assumed would be an immediate playoff berth even though the rest of the team is terrible, not 9 months after he took the job.

I’m curious about the seemingly insensible logic, here. You believe that tipping a server in the range of 15-18% is worse for the server than the customer saving $400 by eating at home?
In that scenario, the server gets $0 from the customer rather than missing out on 2% - 5% of the bill. On a $100 check the server…
If I get excellent service I’ll tip 20% or more. Mediocre service I’ll tip 15%. Bad service I’ll tip 0-10%, depending on how bad.
Just assuming 20% as a per-determined tip is stupid.
Roethlisberger is shitty. The Steelers are shitty to their players, as JuJu will learn before long.
He’s definitely a diva a’la TO, but he’s an excellent receiver. More importantly, he’s not wrong about Roethlisberger.
Let’s say that I assumed that women don’t get enjoyment from it, past tense. I can see that appears to have been an errant assumption. Thanks for the conversation.
I’m sorry for what happened to you. I’m not victim blaming.
I disagree that sex is not a biological imperative. We may not view it that way, necessarily, but the need and desire for sex is hardwired into us as part of a need to propagate the species/reproduce. You are right that abstaining from sex is the only completely sure way to not become pregnant unintentionally, but I…
I’ve stated multiple times that we need to continue campaigning to change laws so that predators who share these photos without consent face consequences. It is my opinion that they should be forced to register as sex offenders after serving a jail sentence.
I don’t agree with those sentiments at all.
The idea that advising someone to not take nude pictures is “tone deaf” seems wrong, to me.
If someone picks up a burning log, they get burned. The best advice to prevent them from being burned is to tell them not to pick up that log again.
It is not irrelevant. You should absolutely assume your privacy could be breached at any moment. That is the state of the world in which we live. That assumption is about self-protection.
I wish we did not live in a world where such assumptions are necessary, but unfortunately that is not the case. If you don’t take…
Next time are you going to ask me if my suggestion for not getting raped is to not have genitals?
If someone has their property stolen, it is unfortunate. The thief can be prosecuted and punished if he/she is caught. Still, the damage is relatively minor (especially if you have insurance).
The damage of someone stealing nude pictures can be much more harmful, as we see in this case (and that doesn’t even get into…
They are needs because our society is dramatically different today than it was a few thousand years ago. Human cities and towns are much more spread out. The average person does not farm or live above his blacksmith shop, anymore.
These are obviously ridiculous parallels. Most people NEED a car to get to work, get around town, and function in their lives. People NEED a place to live, cuz you know, life.
People do not NEED to take nude pictures of themselves. If you are incapable of seeing the difference, I feel sorry for you.
This is a fair point. I think we still have a long way to go in changing laws to be able to prosecute people who distribute photos like this of people, and obviously especially women, without their consent.
If you choose to take nude photos of yourself because that makes you feel proud of your body, that’s your choice. You can do whatever you want to. It is impossible to argue that it does not greatly increase the risk that at some point a nude photo of you might show up on the internet without your consent.
I know who Erin Andrews is. I know what happened to her. Her case was even worse because the pictures were taken without her consent in the first place.
That doesn’t change the fact that if you don’t take nude photos of yourself you won’t have any to be stolen from your hacked phone.
The score looks like it reads Hot1. Come on. It’s fun.
