Typically I don’t order wine at restaurants because of the ridiculous markup. Still, I completely disagree with the notion that if I do buy wine I’m in some way morally obligated to tip 20% on a 200% or more markup.

It’s pretty simple, really.

Honestly, I’m a little torn on this one. The woman clearly was in the wrong for using that word. At the same time, I have a hard time finding justice in the initiation of violence, even when the person was clearly a giant racist asshole.

I tip every time I go out to eat, but trying to justify a restaurant’s liquor prices is just a silly enterprise. Often times the cheaper the wine, the higher the markup is, and often times it’s over 2x the cost of the wine bottle (and often close to 3x).

Put an over-easy/medium egg on top of a burger. Eat it. Try to control your newfound love of runny eggs.

Eh, I think people repeatedly marvel at the fact that Lebron is still showing such amazing athleticism at his age. It’s one of the things that makes Lebron over the last few years so remarkable, because he appears to be getting better, not worse.

Why do people listen to this person’s music? The fact that a man can plead guilty to sexually abusing a child and then have a song featuring Nicki Minaj that reached the top of the charts is pretty depressing. I would think Minaj wouldn’t work with this type of person and that fans wouldn’t buy his music.

Cam Newton is such a clown.

This is a bad thing. Has this guy ever been anything but annoying in any part he has ever played?

Saints fan here. I agree with everything he said that was quoted in this article.

Many video game reviews end up sounding very similar. This does seem to be a case of Flip taking the review and slightly rewording it, which is pretty bad. It follows all the same beats and uses only slightly different phrasing, which is a bit too much to claim as coincidence or just common video game speak, I think.

I assume this is tongue in cheek, but still. Nobody wants to cool off by being involuntarily drenched in hot, filthy road water.

I thought it was common knowledge that venusar was basically just a big frog with a big ass flower on his back? This doesn’t seem surprising, to me.

Meyer didn’t have a heart attack. He abandoned the SEC because he saw the writing on the wall in regards to Saban and the writing on the wall in regards to the future of his own program thanks to the kind of players he’d recruited to win.

OSU fan, huh?

I wasn’t in the car with them, so I don’t know the details. From what my grandmother says they were still actively passing other cars, they just weren’t going 85 in order to do it.

No plates, unfortunately. It was a white construction style truck, but that’s all they got as he was behind them until he ran them off the road and he just drove on after the accident. The people that stopped to assist (a big shout out to them, and multiple drivers stopped to help which probably says more about

My grandparents were ridden off the road while leaving Columbus on the interstate a few days ago, all because they weren’t going fast enough while passing in the left lane for some guy’s taste.

Seems like Columbus has some really classy drivers.

I mean, the warriors can say that. Steph Curry wouldn’t be able to stop Lebron from scoring, at all, if they were to play one on one. Lebron would be all over him without having to worry about screens, passes, or hand check rules. This was a silly comment.

No, this is not the norm for food. At all.

Some bars will ask for your card and keep it if you plan to open a tab, but a food order has never been treated the same way at any establishment I have ever been to.
