Yeah, I don’t know why people are so up-in-arms about having more choice. It’s not like the low-end inexpensive devices are getting any worse because of Apple’s pricing policies. $100 phones are better than they’ve ever been.

At this point, these are laptop replacements for a segment of consumers. At least for me, over the years I’ve diverted more of my portable computer budget to my phone budget. It’s nice to have high-end options for those who want to concentrate their dollars in that way.
As an iphone X owner, the home button was a non-issue in terms of normal use. The gestures are super intuitive and you get used to it very quickly.
As an Alltrack owner they are great alternatives to the Subarus. The Crosstrek never won me over on numerous test drives, and the Outback is too big for my needs and doesn’t offer a manual. The VW is quicker and feels a little more upmarket. I’ve been very satisfied and if I was in the market and it were an option, I w…
There’s a guy in town that worked with military dogs. He teaches all his classes using German commands. Both our pups know them now. His classes are popular; more often than not, the local park has a majority of owners shouting German commands to their dogs.
We use German commands with our dogs, because that’s what the guy whose class we attended taught. The words are more unique anyway, so it seems to help them recognize commands. We’ve had great success using this technique. Neither are German; one’s a goofball Lab and the other is an Aussie. They were untrained puppies …
One turned inside me in our AH-64 in the pattern and landed in front of us.
Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe fuck yourself.
A friend of mine also had a Viggen (silver 5-door), and was also T-boned. Also walked away. In its day, it was a pretty dynamite package.
I’m a fan of the mil-mods. I’m an electrical guy myself, and I had an opportunity to tinker with one of the PTO-driven gensets that he has on one of the trucks. I forget the designation for those ones (the one with the enclosed tool body). Nice idea to have onboard AC power and avoid a second engine to maintain, but…
Lol, ok I may have been using hyperbole. Although there’s a few other vehicles I’m sure. He’s been on a military surplus kick lately, buying up old M1009s and 5/4 ton pickups.
I’m a fan of cars that require instructions.
That’s the same as the BMW console shifters but mounted to the steering wheel. I had one for a while and it’s very easy to get used to it.
Even if they succeed, will grocery stores move these products? Where else would they put them? With the refrigerated juice?
Neutral: With So Many Pickup Options, What’s The One Unavailable Option You Want?
4th: I count myself as one of those who replaced a car with a car this year; although a VW Alltrack is sort of flirting with crossover territory.
Our area of Colorado has been in a fire ban for pretty much all spring due to the dry weather. There are some wildfires, and sunsets have been more spectacular lately from the smoke, but fortunately we haven’t had any real ash problems or the telltale stink of wildfire this year so far.
Yeah, it seems like people generally expect A/C to be readily available for everyone. For a lot of areas of the US, it just doesn’t make sense... even when there’s a handful of days every year that you know will be absolutely miserable.
