At this point, these are laptop replacements for a segment of consumers. At least for me, over the years I’ve diverted more of my portable computer budget to my phone budget. It’s nice to have high-end options for those who want to concentrate their dollars in that way. 

As an iphone X owner, the home button was a non-issue in terms of normal use. The gestures are super intuitive and you get used to it very quickly.

There’s a guy in town that worked with military dogs. He teaches all his classes using German commands. Both our pups know them now. His classes are popular; more often than not, the local park has a majority of owners shouting German commands to their dogs.

We use German commands with our dogs, because that’s what the guy whose class we attended taught. The words are more unique anyway, so it seems to help them recognize commands.
