My wife was telling me one of her coworkers said he’d immediately leave his wife if he won. These are nice people with a kid, that seem to get along well. I just don’t get it with some people.

Yeah I’d go for this.

I wonder if there will be some kind of mileage limit or something. I own a 2013 Jetta TDI and drive well over 25k a year; depending on how long they take to get the fix to market I could have over 100k on my car by then.

I’ll admit, mine is not actually heated either... we just have 70s era insulation in our walls.

As long as we’re throwing money at the problem, why not just go for the heated attached garage? Works wonders for me.

Robert Moses must be turning in his grave.

I dunno, I grew up on the coast and moved to Denver a decade ago. I love it here and have no plans to go back. Every place has pros and cons, you just have to choose the one that suits you.

We Americans are very sensitive about units of measurement.

As a CO resident, I’ve done hikes with this kind of gain, but I’m for sure not in good enough shape to run it. Even just walking it’s a good workout, though.

I work at an airport (not for TSA though), and actually the majority of people opting out and requesting patdowns are very reasonable about it and not trying to make a scene. However, every once in a while you do come across someone who is just looking for attention.

This is why I pretty much always go to the theater that allows you to reserve your seats at purchase. No worries about sitting in the front row, no having to arrive super early. You just show up whenever you feel like it and the seat is waiting for you. You don’t even have to pay for the seat until you know you can

When I’m making chicken I usually alternate hands to avoid excessive washing. E.g. use my right hand to handle the meat (heh) and my left to apply spices/hold the knife/etc.

No idea how many times we’ve watched this movie on the projector at home, but they can have my money anyway to see it again in a theater.

Even if doing so changes nothing, I’d still prefer that humans lessen our impact on the planet.

Article is wrong. It’s not registering aircraft, it’s registering the Pilot. You get a single unique number to afix to all your craft.

Panic braking takes another victim.

This is great, but all the hip offices nowadays aren’t putting walls at all. They are moving the offices to the interior of the space, building their walls out of glass, and giving everyone else low-wall workspaces (or even just grouped desks) to “foster collaboration” and allow daylight into the office.

Yeah, I agree with your sentiment. It’s damn convenient to have such a universally compatible port such as the 3.5mm, but with the current state of bluetooth audio streaming it’s not a stretch for it to be redundant.

You could listen and charge, but it would be limited to bluetooth headphones.

I have a Hubsan H107C that sells around the same price. This size quad is great for beginners to learn the basics of RC flight before moving up to (and hopefully not crashing) a more expensive model. I’m not sure how the Syma flies, the Hubsan is very nimble and easy to maneuver inside the house (and outside in a calm
