I understand what you're getting at, but I think you're just being pedantic here. Google Earth is currently the industry-standard for consumers to view satellite pictures in a user-friendly format.

LED is better than CFL in other ways, but yes they are often very close in terms of energy use.

You can get 100W equivalent (1600 lumens) LED lamps that fit in a standard socket.

In the business world, yep they are still widely used. I work in consulting, and it's nice to be able to give out your card when you're out and about.
