It's actually an aerial photo of Stillwater, MN.

I suppose it's a matter of opinion, but I think the smell is wonderful. I'm not a smoker. Grow ops generally just smell like fresh growing marijuana.

I agree that epaper is better for reading, but the point I was making is that there's nothing wrong with having a choice of a 4:3 tablet. People act like just because all the competition has gone widescreen that Apple should as well.

Some people don't watch a lot of video (like me). I use mine mostly for reading (books, webpages, etc). It's nice to have the choice of a 4:3 tablet. All the major android devices are 16:9 which is less ideal for portrait use.

They do seem like a nice bargain, but after seeing what Microsoft did with WP7 devices, I'm a bit skeptical of how future-proof the Surface will be.

I agree. The ipad 2 was a good future-proof device. I mean, they still sell the darn thing!

I did have one in high school and let me tell you, fun was had.

I'm guessing that the real reason they made the bezel as thick as they did was to make room for more battery. But as others mention, the first ipad is really a heavy device. We have one at the office for field work and it is surprising how large the thing is.

This is probably the first iPad I'd consider upgrading to since I bought my ipad 2 almost 3 years ago. However, there's still nothing wrong with the thing and the battery still lasts for 2 weeks. I guess I'll wait till next year.

Has anyone seen the movie The Wrestler starring Mickey Rourke? Because this story really has that kind of vibe to it. Different profession, though.

Setting the headwind to 80 knots with no turbulence in X-Plane and doing this is one thing... doing it in real life in real wind which rarely resembles anything so steady, is entirely another.

She's listed on that page you kept linking to, though.

But you missed the fact that Apple does in fact have a token ethnic/female member of their executive team. Andrea Jung is on the board of directors.

The only problem with that is that every pound of speakers you add reduces the usable payload by a pound. A subwoofer and amp would probably mean you could no longer carry a passenger with you.

Oh, I see. I couldn't remember but I knew it was in there at some point.

300 would not be enough to get me to trade up. It would need 350HP to feel appreciably faster than the Focus ST, I think.

I wish the Focus had a better front diff, but other than that I agree. I've lived with mine for around 14,000 miles now and it is a great little car.

I would buy the crap out of that car if it existed. I love our Focus ST, but it is not big enough for long road trips.

Pike's Peak hillclimb was in GT2 and 3, did they remove it? I honestly don't know.

Yes, absolutely. I love simulators, and agree there should be a driving one that has no real goals. You could also do what MS did in FSX and have missions available for those who choose to do them alongside a totally separate free-roam mode.
