Yup! I loved shop class. Even if the teacher wouldn't let us use the table saw.

That's pretty bad, especially since you're talking about a high school.

The problem with home economics being mandatory (at public school, anyway) is that those classrooms are expensive and schools don't have money in their budgets for a room with 20 ovens. The loss of home ec class is a casualty of the progressive defunding of education in this country. Same with shop class.

My Fiancee and I are both in kickboxing class, and we entertained the idea of having a boxing match at our wedding to see who gets whose last name.

Thanks, but I think I'd prefer getting my own type rating if I ever run into that 'problem'

A dream of mine is to be able to afford a big enough plane to reasonably make long trips around the country. King Airs go for a few hundred grand these days, and have a 1,500 mile range cruising at 220 knots. That would be just fine for my purposes, thanks. Perhaps after the mortgage is paid off, that'll be the next

Why can't we have a retractable steering wheel and pedals for emergencies? See: Will Smith's Audi in "I, Robot."

Oooh, I've never seen that setting. I think I need to do some more digging into MFT to see if there's other functionality I'm not aware of.

I just assumed that all Fords had the same system. I agree, in my Focus ST the auto lights work great. I have HID, does your Mustang have HID headlights? Maybe the delay is different/shorter for halogens and that is causing trouble.

There are right-handed knives? The more you know.

That seems to be a common problem. They told me this as well when I was having some heat/battery usage problems on my 4S. I had the same backup since iOS 2, and I guess there are code fragments that creep in over time (or whatever, I'm not a software engineer).

Everyone has their own definition of camping. You can't really draw a line because everyone has their own comfort level with this sort of thing. Should we also require that you only bring what you can carry in your backpack? That you only eat what you can hunt/gather from the woods? And jeez, that warm sleeping bag is

This is the one I bought:

The closest I've come to buying anything from them is xmas gifts I have received from others. I did get a very nice piece of carry-on luggage that is branded HS. After 5 years of pretty steady use it was still in fine shape, so I gave it to our 12-year old. He still uses it. Not sure who really made the bag, but it

You probably already know this, but you can get the same quality film scanner from some place like Newegg for around half price. If you've got old negatives lying around it's a great way to revisit a lot of old and possibly forgotten memories.

I'd agree with you on the bit about removing her spacesuit before blowing the hatch, but recall that the capsule was on fire at the time.

Our old diesel S-10 had lost so much compression, putting it in gear even on a relatively gentle hill wasn't enough to keep it from rolling.
