Yes, because nobody else ever made mapping software worth using besides Google. /s

At a ship-builder, they are probably using 480, 600 or at the outside 2160V to run construction equipment in the ship. That downed power line that killed your friend could have been running 50 kV even if it was just a regular roadside wood pole. A downed power line is a very dangerous thing no matter what you're

You'd get calls of bias for doing that as well, just from a different group.

Are they still the only one selling a 90" model? They were last time I checked.

Most Cell towers are built with an on-site genset and at least 36 hours of fuel. Also, you can charge your phone in the car during a blackout. If I was in a real emergency situation (hurricane, or something) I'd be looking to the wireless system first for connectivity.

This can't possibly be a gimmick.

I nominate Johnny Cash flipping the bird.

Yeah, I think more places should institute peak demand charges to punish people who waste power. Then your statement would be more valid.

I live outside a city as well, and use turn by turn for work a lot, so I bought an app (there is a selection of both free and one-time paid turn by turn apps on the app store - not too many charge yearly/monthly). I also used the built in google maps app for POI search a lot (and it was quite good for that).

The important point being that anyone with the appropriate manufacturing facility could be making this design, and it's probably still Samsung because they were the lowest bidder.

Sure, if you're definitely upgrading every other one, yeah. However, whether you are on one cycle or the other, you're still spending the same money (new phone every two years). And a longer shelf-life gives you the option not to HAVE to upgrade if you want some semblance of feature parity. It remains to be seen if
