I suppose the headline "Scientists Discover Statue Carved From Meteorite" might be a little less misleading, although I'll be the first to admit I clicked through...

Yeah, I can dig that. I felt the same about the iphone 4 antenna. A lot of people complained about that issue as well, and a fat lot of good that did.
So return it?
If it ain't tight, it ain't right.
What if you want to sell the old charger along with the old phone? Sometimes that's the difference in making a sale at your asking price and settling for less.
I suppose that's a good way to make a quick buck but I think you could've done better wi a bit of patience. Also, iPhone 4's are still fetching between 200-300 on Craigslist and the like.
Oh, for sure. She's nuts.
Actually its not that windy through most of it through Clear Creek County. The only real hairy part is just east of Idaho Springs. The rest, you could do 100 in pretty much any passenger vehicle.
I live outside a city as well, and use turn by turn for work a lot, so I bought an app (there is a selection of both free and one-time paid turn by turn apps on the app store - not too many charge yearly/monthly). I also used the built in google maps app for POI search a lot (and it was quite good for that).
The important point being that anyone with the appropriate manufacturing facility could be making this design, and it's probably still Samsung because they were the lowest bidder.
Sure, if you're definitely upgrading every other one, yeah. However, whether you are on one cycle or the other, you're still spending the same money (new phone every two years). And a longer shelf-life gives you the option not to HAVE to upgrade if you want some semblance of feature parity. It remains to be seen if…
Actually, if the 3GS is any indicator, the S models have a much longer shelf life. Given that the 4S has a dual-core SOC and the 4 had a single-core, I'm guessing things will be the same there. In all likelihood, next year's phone will also have a more powerful SOC and the same screen resolution as this year.
Thank you for reminding me it's about time to make room for the car in the garage.
We used to call these Pizza Shits in college, for a variety of reasons.
I always thought it was the power button rattling around. At least on the 4/4S that's where it seems to come from.
There's one quick mention in the article that it might be "doing a "smart" function like pin assignment" - if I recall correctly, the new connector has adaptable pin-out depending on function, so it would make sense that you can't just make a straight pin adapter and expect it to work.
Lower power efficiency = less efficient = uses more power, that's how I read the sentence anyway.
I agree; this was on the Tumblr you guys linked to last week, got a chuckle out of this iOS user.
Yeah but F=MA so when two objects falling at the same speed hit the ground, the lighter one experiences less force.
