I suppose. But then nothing is really that limited these days. Everything has secondary features up the wazoo. It's true you can't print to a lot of printers with the iPads but they aren't really geared towards that anyway. You can't win a lot of drag races in a pickup truck either. But they do get used as daily

I'm guessing they'll drop video output and leave audio and USB. You can have the 4-pin USB and the 5-pin audio with separate grounds on a 9-pin connector.

So what you're saying, is that printing capability is only available to a subset of ipad users.

My parents designed their house with a fan system that's ducted through an extra passage in the chimney. It sucks hot air from the attic and blows it into the basement, in the process forcing cool air up. Works quite well.

From what I can find, rail transport efficiency is about 400-450 ton-miles per gallon, versus traditional truck transport at 130-150 ton-miles per gallon, so roughly thrice the efficiency.

I know from experience that the ports on the top and bottom both seem to collect all kinds of stuff in them, so maybe it doesn't make a difference.

More than that, it refers to the fact that the structure and casing are one in the same. This was not (entirely) the case for the iphone 4, because while the structure did double as an antenna, the casing (glass pieces) were separate. In the case of this one, you're right, the main structure and the main casing are

Yeah, to get the idea you just need to look at cars. Unibody construction means the chassis and body are the same piece, e.g. the car's structure is integrated into the body panels of the car. It doesn't mean the whole car is one piece. You still have doors, and other components hung off the structure. Compare to a

Two flashes?

Just a minor point... if you have the ports facing upwards when the phone is in your pocket, would they not be likely to collect lint and dust?

I think they should horizontally center it. But, perhaps they tried that and it didn't look right. I dunno. It seems like having it the corner lends itself to more situations where you're blocking the lens with a finger.

Thanks for admitting you didn't read the article and then turning around and summarizing said article.

It's more to defend the leaks as genuine, I think. Justify the speculation that this is, in fact, the next design.

7-8 hours of what? My iphone lasts all weekend. It really depends on location, usage, and a million other things. I am very happy with the battery life on my phone overall, and the same cannot be said for any of the dozens of friends with Android phones. Except my coworker who has a Razr Maxx.

The "typical guy" holding a beer and sinking into mud was a nice touch.

Now you're talking.

What is this, an airplane for....

Sidenote: What is UP with the double-triple-quadruple posts today? I'm seeing them everywhere, and my post did it too.

Yep. I recall similar conversations with some less technically-inclined colleagues.
