To clarify: what I'm referring to when I say lazy people is just that. There is a group of people today (increasingly) that I'll refer to as wal mart nation, who has the means to eat healthy and chooses not to. Agree or disagree?

I'm not saying that at all. This thread started with discussion about overweight people and why they got that way. Guess what, if you're overweight you aren't starving.

I think it's part of your responsibility as a parent to look out for your kids' health. If taking the time to properly cook a meal for them each day doesn't fit in one's schedule what business do they have raising children? My parents worked too, but there was always cooked food on the table. It takes a half hour or

Yep, acetaminophen/Tylenol = liver damage, ibuprofin/Motrin = kidney damage, and naproxen sodium/Aleve = stomach bleeding. Pick your poison.

I think the most important part of the argument is that microwave dinners and such are the easy option, and with some extra effort (e.g. preparation of vegetables and such) one can eat relatively healthy for the same money.

Gabon is on the list twice?

That jet-engine sound you hear is the joke, whizzing past above you at 30,000 feet.

Well to be fair there was and is a specific model identifier for every piece of apple hardware. For example, my MBP is specifically a MacbookPro5,1. My iphone is model A1387 (says right on the back) which is also referred to as iphone 4S. They're just cleaning up their marketing names. Anyone who actually needs to

Was about to mention that. In fact I got a very good set of Sony earbuds with the controls on them for like $25 at Best Buy. Also, the Bose QC15s have the controls as well IIRC.

My general impression of Samsung is that they just throw shit at the wall to see what sticks. Their ongoing software support is not great - they seem to abandon products very quickly after they are launched.

My mistake. Either way, though...

That's basically the price at this point. Keep in mind you are required to move to Kansas City, Kansas.

Rendering vs. encoding.

We've got one of the woven fabric ones like pictured here, which can be had for like $220 (plus a stand) and are more comfy than the netted ones.
