Ditto. Pandora One is $36 a year and for on-the-go listening IMO the radio format as Pandora uses is really the most useful. For on demand streaming I use Google music.

Good point. I see above 100mbit over wifi regularly with my airport router (Time capsule, actually, but same thing). You should be able to get a good GB per minute if not higher over LAN.
Are you streaming 1080p files over 802.11n? In my experience, I have no issues streaming HD content over a 5GHz wifi network.
