I think the biggest problem with the Skip Barber cars, is that the long hair can impair the driver’s vision in crucial moments, and this could be one reason for the accidents. Indeed, skipping the barber is never a good idea for any race car driver.

AWD would be the wrong move for the chassis, kinda misses the whole point of the car, not to mention the current engine packaging would make AWD just about impossible without moving most of the weight forward of the front axle.
