Makes me sad that people haven’t heard of bridges, or at least bridges without a pedestrian path. To walk or bike would be to go to a completely different bridge across the river, easily tripling the distance.

I completely agree with this article except one thing... I love Nintendo. I generally don’t care about brands in any other aspect, but man has Nintendo got me.
For comparison, I paid $875/mo for my apartment in Portland living single. Now it’s $1075/mo for a 2br apartment. I make $15/hr. That extra $3/hr couldn’t possibly cover tripling that one cost alone.
