I really liked the Small Council scene, although I felt bad for casual viewers, because the show made absolutely no attempt to refresh anyone on who these people were.

His face is what I call "eminently loathsome".
Hell, the Hound got mentioned later in the episode too.
I love the show, but I'm kind of at my wits end with Ramsay. I know payoff takes time, but do we need to be reminded how thoroughly and completely he's winning every week? It's bordering on torture porn, at this point.
All of this makes me wonder even more why GRRM killed him. If it was necessary to fulfill the terms of him being Azor Ahai or something, then great. But from how it's playing out here, it's like he killed Jon just to kill him.
From how he sort of spat out "My watch has ended", I saw it less as Jon using the death loophole, and more just saying, "Fuck all of you. You betrayed me. I'm leaving."
My watch has ended was my favorite part, solely for the implications. It's going to be REALLY jarring to see Jon in a location other than Castle Black. Hell, if he ever goes to King's Landing, I don't know what I'll do. My face might melt from the shock of seeing Jon Snow in sunlight.
It drives me nuts that NO ONE ever made this fucking argument to Thorne. All he did was bitch and moan about the wildlings being let through the Wall, failing to realize that every dead wildling means one new undead soldier for the Night's King.
Well, we don't get to go inside the Tower in that scene in the book, so I really wasn't expecting we'd get to here. But hey, at least they didn't pull a Walking Dead and save it for the season finale, cutting to black right as Ned climbs the steps.
I don't think any actor on the show better embodies his or her character than Liam Cunningham as Davos Seaworth. He's literally everything I've ever wanted in that character and more.
Ray Palmer stays holdin' Ls.
And yet, this show makes an even stronger case for why Arrow made a fundamental mistake in casting Caity Lotz as Sara rather than Laurel.
Yeah, I like Rip but hate Kendra and Carter. I know there's virtually no chance we continue with the Savage story in Season 2, but of the people integral to the Savage story this season, I'd like to keep Rip and ditch the Hawks. Once the personal element is out of the way, and we just have a gang of time-traveling,…
At this rate, the team kinda deserves to lose. If Macho Man Vandal Savage could get one over on them this easily, I really don't see why they should win. And I say that as someone who thinks Savage is weaksauce.
The problem with this episode is the same problem I have with The Walking Dead. Much of its plot is predicated on its heroes being absolute fucking morons.
I don't think I've ever cared about a relationship less than Kendra and Carter.
Carter has been every bit as functionally useless as Kendra. I would have laughed myself down an MC Escher staircase if Rip's ploy to turn Vandal into the Time Masters to have him erased would have worked, because it would have meant Kendra really served no purpose to the story than to remind us she was a barista [x]…
I actually let out a cheer when it appeared Carter had been killed again. So disappointed to discover he was alive.
UPDATE
Holy shit, I adore Dolemite. I literally watch it at least once a year.
