I’ve had a Q60 and it’s prior gen a few times as Hertz rentals and loved them. Issue as you say is the quality is not staying where it was. The dated screens in the middle with STILL no Android auto support boggles the mind. The dual screens are un-needed for how terrible the UI and usability is.

Sorry was that scheme or scam?  It's Zuck so hard to tell what new self-centered empire nonsense he wants now.  You would think making discussions toxic woldwide and encouraging division would be his exit cue to retire with his billions but like a Howard Hughes (one that isn't technically astute on anything) he wants

I travel a lot for work and the insane hell of TNC’s around airports has made approaching and getting through (pick up or drop off) at most airports utterly insane. 20-45 min waits to enter and exit an airport. This tends to be the most ideal origination/destination for TNC users, the pain is already there, congestion

They build it to the specs, but the specs change MID PROGRAM and even MID PRODUCTION.  If DOD stayed with initial specs these things would be mostly on time

Bingo - the changing requirements issue is the BIGGEST problem everyone overlooks.

Nobody wants to speak of this but the constant program changes and spec changes kill effectiveness in most defense programs. It’s nice this admin thought it could bully their way to progress but you either deliver something that will break later or something that’s still delayed. The complexity of airborne weapons

As I get back to affording my next ideal car (kids and college tuition) , the RS6 is on the shortlist.

Having owned 5 BMW’s in the past, thoroughly unimpressed with their offerings today.  Have leaned more towards VW groups (Audi and even VW) plus Daimler/Benz lately.  Silly things like this on top others like lack of Android Auto make it frustrating to stick with the brand.  Their terrible i3 vs a nice i8 show me they

Whenever someone says Republicans are here to take away regulations to make things easier I then ask what's the beef with then regulating what women do. Generally ends with, "we need rules" - to that I add but why there and they generally shut up after that.

Go look at at quality in the LA Basin in the 60s and then step back and get why California did what it did.  They didn't just go after cars but any gross polluters.  Now get that even the basic features of emission control today are the push California started but other national regulatory agencies took on. California

Funny - our dealership called out the Mrs’s 2017 CR-V with the 1.5l turbo as - it’s a smaller engine but does well compared to the prior. No mention of BS Turbo - they just implied as good as the prior which is what we have today.  Having purchased 6 higher performance cars in my younger years I generally steered

On #2 - not an issue except in a pickup location with 30 cars approaching (e.g. airports and busy hotel venues) not a big deal to look at the rear plate when only 1 or 2 cars pull up. 30 - 40, then it’s painful

As a frequent Lyft user - try going to states where a bunch of people are getting picked up and you want the correct car. The plate is the easiest way to ensure you’re in the right car. The aesthetics issue you have is moot, REALLY your car looks like crap with the front plate?  Every high speed driving locale in the

Just today - I’m on a 4 lane main road and a Tesla pulls into traffic from a business making a left turn and cuts off me and a few other cars. No signals, - no nothing - NO ATTEMPT to use that power in the car to accelerate. This is like the 5th time in a month a Tesla driver just doesn’t care about others on the road

4 months later and I will hedge the bet that it will be early 2020 until Max’s go back in the air. Boeing really f’d this up and the reduced FAA’s funding didn’t help - manufacturers were told they can do more inspections in house vs FAA paid line inspectors.  Part of that process is also reviewing new systems risks.

Yeah - did you shake hands with anyone who doesn’t wash their hands out of the restroom - that’s on your steering wheel now.

The one time I did intentionally buy a used car I also got a new seat pan for the drivers seat on the car - for $300 didn’t question it

I rent a car for work trips about 30+ times a year. A nice lysol wipe is applied to that steering wheel and anything else I touch before I leave the lot. Utterly disgusting the amount of stuff that comes off the wheel on rentals. (yeah before someone calls me out on using a lysol wipe and not proper cleaner - refer

Walker in an idiot - but the state employees who avoided basic facts and checking on validity of what would really built in the US are the bigger buffoons.  13K+ Jobs was utter nonsense.

The state of Wisconsin has about as much business acumen in high tech as the President does.  Some of us who have been in the CEM/ODM supply chain for 20+ years did attempt to sanity check this deal with officials in the state of Wisconsin.  We were told to “mind our own business”
