The fact that Scott Hall is not in a coffin is very inspiring. If that guy can get out of bed and out of the house, I should be able to do anything.

I think Paterno knews what happened considering:

Soccer is really sort of starting to take off in the US...sort of...a work stoppage would be the worst thing that could happen right now. It took the other major sports a long time to regain their popularity after strikes. Hockey is still not where it was before.

When one of your coaches tells you he walked in on another of the coaches having sex with a young boy in the locker room showers...and you continue to let that latter coach host youth camps at your facilities...yes, I guess that is extremely tragic. And yes, we do feel morally superior to Joe Paterno.

Are they getting burned by LeBron's antics? I guess that's one way of looking at it.

It's not incompetence on their part. Prosecutor's generally don't force "victims" to testify, as a matter of policy. Obviously, there are exceptions. Also, it's incredibly rare for witnesses in a criminal case to be deposed. It only happens in special cases, where it's necessary in order to prevent testimony (e.g.

Is he an Arab? Osman is a Turkish name. Iqbal is more common in Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh than in any Arabic countries.

It's possible I'm wrong, but I have to think that Randy Johnson is probably a Republican. He's a white guy with a handlebar mustache who says things like:

Damn, dude. That's messed up, though I can't say you're wrong.

Well, Bagwell probably took more steroids than the rest of the league combined, but I don't know why Piazza is under the microscope so hard.

Some people think that certain people deserve to get into the HOF, but not on the first ballot? Why? I don't really know. I guess they see it as more prestigious to get in on the first ballot, and they don't think certain players are worthy of that. Don't ask why. This is the same sport where they throw a hissy fit

So we aren't allowed to have an opinion on the subject unless and until we convince Johnny Manziel to personally sit down with a doctor for an evaluation? When I see a player take a shot to the head and stay down, I assume they have a concussion. Can I have that opinion even though I'm not a doctor and have not

Well his drinking is obviously affecting his professional life. Isn't that one of the main signs of having a problem with alcohol? If he was just getting drunk on his off nights, and he was making it to all of his practices and meetings on time, then I'd say to leave him alone.

We wouldn't have it any other way.

The best evidence is the 20 year period between now and the last time we even got close to a Super Bowl...right?

Well, in the very important game yesterday, Romo threw o interceptions and 2 touchdowns.

Watch that penalty for running into the punter again. That was a huge bullshit call too. So was the fact that Suh was allowed to play. Stop complaining.

Even if he's not treated as a repeat offender, is there a reason why he shouldn't be suspended? Is there a rule prohibiting suspension for a "first time" offense? Each time I watch the replay of this one, it looks more and more egregious.

So long as you aren't a cop.

I have to assume Eric Garner was just faking the whole thing, and that he's presumably pretending to be dead in a casket somewhere now.
