But with pretrial diversion, he won't have a conviction on his record, which will make a difference if he is ever involved in domestic violence again.

The NFL fucked up, but I'm not understanding why Congress is sticking its nose in this, just like I don't understand why they stuck their nose in PED use in baseball. If anything, Congress should be asking the police department why they gave Ray Rice pretrial diversion when they had all the evidence they needed for a

Attorney here. There's no way I would have outright lied like that. Besides, he had done his job by that time. He got Ray Rice pretrial diversion, in a case that usually would have resulted in a conviction. Job well done.

Glad to see all of the experts on here telling Janay what's best for her. Obviously, you all know what has transpired since the assault, and you have a solid understanding of their relationship as a whole.

I still don't understand why everyone hates Goodell so much. Is it because he instituted player safety rules? Is it that he cracked down on the Saints for Bounty-Gate? Is it because he's rich and has a hot wife? Could someone enlighten me?

Had to watch it on mute, because that fat girl wouldn't stfu.

If War Machine gets let out on bail pending trial (not going to happen), you think UFC should let him fight? Did you really just say she's a coward for fleeing?

No. I'm coming to your fucking candlelight suppers, bro.

It sounds like "some people" are expressing their First Amendment right to disagree with another person's views. The First Amendment gives you the right to express whatever view you want, and it correspondingly gives everyone else the right to tell you how much your view sucks. The whole point of the First Amendment

"Adams deleted the Tweet an hour later, after someone alerted him that it was just a fucking joke."

I'm not sure how deep you got into this collection of pics, but there's much more of Verlander than just his butt.

I'm a gym rat, but I don't understand how this could piss anyone off. All you have to do is decline the offer, if you don't want it. If you're really that weak, it's your problem.

My stock is just out there trying to be the best stock it can be.

Well, it's possible that there was some kind of aggression on the part of the boys. Giving the officer the benefit of the doubt and accepting his version of the story, let's say one of these two boys tried to grab his gun from him and pushed him. I would understand why he would be pissed off about that, but it still

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the officer's reasoning, but fortunately, that's not a legal defense.

There's disagreement about how the confrontation started, but even in the officer's version of events, he shot someone in the back as they were running away. Since we know the cop is the type of guy who will do that, why would he trust his version of the story anyway?

Yea, that dude is jacked. It's not like he put the weigh on rapidly though. I wouldn't be shocked if I found out Tiger has used PEDs, but it's certainly not an obvious case, if he has.

Unfortunately, he sought the legal advice on the Subreddit /r/exmormon, rather than /r/legaladvice. The legal advice Subreddit actually has a lot of attorneys, so this probably would not have happened.

The original post (where he got the bad legal advice) was on the Subreddit "exmormon," not "legaladvice." I agree you shouldn't rely on Reddit for legal advice, but the "legaladvice" subreddit at least has a lot of attorneys on there. If he had posted there, there probably would have been a lot of lawyers warning him

You shouldn't assume his view was obstructed and he couldn't steer out of the way any more than others should assume the opposite. Frankly, we don't know. We can't tell from that one clip that we have all seen.
