Actually it applies to every federal employee. I, itty bitty government peon that I am, have to abide by the Hatch Act.

I don’t know about “google,” but I’m a lawyer and I can make a good case the FBI director falls well within those intended by the Hatch Act.

Yes, yes, the misogynist’s fallback - “a woman president is okay but just not THAT woman”

They’re a troll. Dismiss on sight. Take it from a guy who’s been there.

Or - people have a obligation to research and vote for the candidate who will best serve the country’s interests. This isn’t a game where the two candidates are simply vying for a prize. The election affects all of us. This idea that “so-and-so needs to earn my vote” is always a little grating.

Do you always trust claims made by the United States government...

Same here. Never before have I felt so disrespected, as a woman, by a Presidential candidate. The Republican party is a fucking disgrace.

People can vote for whomever they please. I just don’t think emails that no one knows anything about yet provides justification should someone choose to vote for a racist, misogynist sack of improperly disposed medical waste.

I mean we don’t even know anything about these emails. If this causes an impact on the polls, some people were just looking for an excuse not to vote for Hillary.

The infuriating part that it seemed so vauge (by design) that it encourages wild speculation. Completely ridiculous.

It is super telling about every single one of your privileges that you brush off his dangerous racism, misogyny, ableism, Islamophobia, xenophobia, love for murderous tyrants, and ignorance with a mere “...worse for some people, but calm your little heads”. Seriously? Get stuffed.

For whatever reason, I was the most terrified by the mental image of a would-be attacker crawling on the floor. Just fucking terrifying.

Yes, I agree with you 100%. Also add that they were in a foreign country! Being overseas is tough enough.

A friend of mine works on Beyonce’s law team. He/she (protecting my source here) told me this video was laughed over, encouraged by and enjoyed and supported in advance of its public release by Beyonce and Jay Z. (And then, of course, released on Tidal.) Apparently Beyonce has a pretty good sense of humour.

Well... people can care about more than one thing at a time. It doesn’t take that much time to make a hashtag and tweet something. Just because there are worse things in the world doesn’t mean we can’t stop for a moment to say this person is horrible or whatever.

Are you all seriously not aware that Formation is an ode to black power and self love? None of you seem to have a problem with a white comedian parodying a song meant to embrace everything that white america has deemed unattractive in us (baby hairs, afros, jackson five nostrils, Texas Bama, etc)?

Ok so

I think those are their outfits on set. You can see her stunt double in the same outfit.

They both bought property on White Feminist Island and don’t check their mail very often.

Glad to know I wasn’t the only one who found that “parody” video kinda lame. She fucking lost me when that interview with Lena Dunham went down.
