Was going to make a very similar comment. ;) But a general rule of thumb is to check out which religious organizations are active participants in Pride parades, celebrations, activities... you’d be surprised how many open-minded, progressive, and welcoming congregations there are out there.

But, didn’t someone eventually answer the door? Didn’t someone help her? There is a big piece missing from the story - how she got from the doors of the people too slow to help her, to “safe with family.”

I don’t think she was necessarily telling him to look for those words spelled out in Marian’s file (it doesn’t seem that the official medical records would include MBP, or why is the nurse a pariah for suggesting it?) but to urge him to look for clues in Marian’s medical history that would support her suspicion.

Ah, but the 90s are. ;)

I assume she didn’t know they took the kid, that they did it to either save him from what they realized was a dangerous situation, or to use him as some kind of leverage against Vera. The way she talked about him made me think he may be seen as having special powers within the cult, and Bess might have simply wanted

Exactly. Cole’s POV isn’t going to focus much on Noah’s grief or reaction. Maybe he was a little more epressive than came through in Cole’s interpretation, but it’s in Noah’s short POV that we got to see his pain.

I don’t know about that. Even if she did know that is where they were going, it’s more believable to me that she would insist on having bio dad put Cole on the phone rather than just blurt it out to him first, or let him deliver the message to the others. Although I don’t know why I’m trying to rationalize the actions

I feel like there has to be more to this, which hopefully will be explained. Did Alison really go  back to see him (in those last couple of days after returning from LA) and got close enough to share such personal, intimate details about herself?

Isn’t “long-lost relative only reaches out to get your kidney” ridiculously cliche by now? I think I may have groaned out loud when they said it. If only the writers could have come up with a new motivation for a parent to break decades of silence!

“Multi-million dollar house and no guest room.”

here too is an older man (DeSantis is 39) dismissing a millennial woman”

Oh, but maybe “Alice” is a nickname for “Allison”!

I did wonder about that - Allison looked so happy to see him “surprise” her at the conference, but it wasn’t clear to me whether she was just glad to see someone she knew (after we were shown repeatedly how alone she felt) or if she had expected him to be there and was disappointed when she thought he wasn’t.

I was waiting for the family bathroom at the mall to change my poopy kid

You’ve sadly summed up my experience with Pose. First, it was: oh this looks interesting and it has James Van Der Beek and that guy from American Horror Story! Then, after the pilot: hmm, I wonder when JVDB’s part gets any bigger? He was so prominent in the commercials. Three episodes in: Ugh, this subplot with the

Sorry, that is completely not what I meant at all. The original suggestion was that he could get fired from SNL for his relationship. There had been rumors that even before his Grande relationship, his SNL job was at risk because of his drinking and drug problems, and rehab saved his job. So it seemed to me more

Not an assumption. He has admitted it.

Maybe not for the relationship, but possibly for the relapse into drinking again.

But didn’t they take out the other handmaid’s eye after she was already pregnant? (Blanking on her name. Need more coffee.)

So, what IS the deal with pooping?
