The Tower of Joy scene all but confirmed R+L=J for me.

This season has been confirming old fan theories left and right:

True, though a lot of people already suspected Euron's horn was a fake/red herring.

What's odd is that no one in the Night's Watch or Jon seemed to know Littlefinger was there in the first place. They've got some really lax security at Castle Black.

The Iron Islands are gonna have to set up some sort of guest worker program to get those thousand ships built. The show makes it seem like there are only a couple dozen of them at the most.

Yes, the wights were also way scarier and faster than I remember them being in previous seasons. They were boiling through those tunnels like the zombies in World War Z. It was already stretching credulity to have any of the main characters make it out of there alive.

Maybe the Three Eyed Raven knew it had to go down the way it did, which is why he didn't warn Bran ahead of time about going too far north in his visions.

What's bizarre is that I read a fan theory a long time ago that
speculated Hodor was really Rhaegar Targaryen and "Hodor" meant "hold the door" because Rhaegar/Hodor was trying to hold the door closed at the
Tower of Joy.

Prom seemed stupid to me even when I was an impressionable teenager. Maybe it was because I came of age in the '90s, but 'prom' seemed more like a fake rite of passage made important by cheesy 80s movies than a real thing I should be interested in.

I think we're seeing more regressive elements in our society acting up precisely because we are a more liberal and tolerant society now than in the '90s. They feel threatened whereas before, their dominance was so complete that they could (mostly) shrug off gender-bending as a big joke.

The baby switch subplot is too confusing for the TV show so I can see why they dropped it. I doubt Mance's kid is going to play a significant role in future events.

Two thoughts:

Did anyone else start sweating while watching this?

He would've wanted it that way.

Yeah—how dare she mine her life for artistic inspiration! No musician has ever done that!

That quote was wrong and doesn't even make sense.

People want a place to talk about how awesome Prince was and AVC and other sites are providing that. That's like the opposite of clickbait.

April is the cruellest month, breeding

This is shaping up to be a bad year for beautiful pop star alien pixies.

Call me crazy, but I don't think we're talking about sports anymore
