I said he has "no business" criticizing the show if he doesn't watch it, not no right. Acting in a show and reading the script hardly gives you a good idea of what the final product is. Lots of actors don't watch TV shows they're on while the show is airing, but I never see those same actors offering critical

Well a lot of popular '90s sitcoms subverted that trope (e.g. Seinfeld) and everyone was just an asshole to each other without learning anything. Community, and other recent shows like Parks & Recreation, are a sort of backlash to the backlash—sweetness and light are beneath all the jokes and pop culture references

Chevy has said he doesn't watch the show. He has no business criticizing it if he refuses to watch it.

For me, it's the difference between a repentant asshole (Harmon) and an unrepentant one (Chase). At least Harmon doesn't pretend he's being anything other than a petty crank when he yells at people.

Then don't read it?

The site Panik is referring to is probably Towerofthehand.com and I agree that it's got a great spoiler system set up.

"Sweetrobin" is a nickname for Robert Arryn in the books too.

Totally the mummer's dragon, though he may not realize it.

I think it was meant to confirm a certain mute Ironborn boy's story for Lady Dustin, who may not be as anti-Stark as she lets on.

I think it was just coincidence. Ser Patrek had learned earlier in the book that the wildlings have a tradition of kidnapping or stealing women, so he decided to try to 'steal' Val. Wun Wun was at the base of her tower as a kind of guarantor of her safety.

Has the use of cartoony visuals really been that constant? I think commenters are making a way bigger deal out of them than they warrant. They've only been in two episodes so far. Plus, the show just might be doing something deliberate here.

And once again, Danny Pudi does a nice impersonation. Him pretending to be Don Draper, and then Jeff Winger, is one of my favorite Abed scenes ever.

If only the first reply to this comment had been an ASCII representation of City College's flag…

A very nice point. It also makes the Troy and Abed plot tie in thematically to all the wedding hijinks. Shirley makes an important decision about the future of her marriage to Andre and starts a new venture with Pierce.

The Jeff/Britta wedding thing tonight was a nice callback to S2's opener. Jeff and Britta angrily daring each other to pursue a normal relationship is probably the best thing they could've ever done with that storyline.

NBC didn't put this promo together. An outside company was hired to do it. The guy who actually edited the spot talks about it here: http://www.reddit.com/r/com…

I think it's kind of sweet. People 'camping out' in abandoned/old comment threads used to happen a lot on the Gawker network sites before they put up non-specific discussion boards. If a website doesn't provide a chat function, then people WILL find other ways to communicate.

Mulder did, anyway. Or was it the other way around?

I am intrigued by this project, but also skeptical. But even if the remake sucks, it will probably drive some people to check out the original. That can't be a bad thing.

I'm pretty sure Roger's roast get-up was a reference to '70s era Dean Martin, which fits the roast theme better than Tony Clifton. The little curl drooping down in the middle of Roger's forehead is the giveaway.
