That's how I read this episode too. He's ridden the classic Don Draper persona as far as it's going to go. We see it cracking at the end of last season and the beginning of this season. I hope this episode is a turning point for him, in which he realizes that he can open up more with people.

If you're going to be racist, at least be funny.

It was a great turning point for Don Draper. When Peggy walked into his office in the morning, still disheveled and he's looking his usual polished self, I thought for a moment that he was going to pretend the previous night had never happened. Him putting his hand over Peggy's was an acknowledgment that it did

How could that final scene NOT make you feel ill?

It IS Top Pea Puree.

The editing of judges' table was odd. They almost made it seem like Ripert was pissed off at Bourdain's nitpicking, but it's clear from the No Reservations episode that steph5555 mentions that they have good rapport.

Damn, am I tired of hearing people bitching about Marti Noxon. She's not the only reason why Buffy went south. Get over it, already.

I love how Peggy is turning into Teflon Woman. She's doing what Don used to do so well, which is use her insight into human nature against her opponents. She lets them charge, then uses their momentum against them.

Definitely a blackout. How is there any question? They've been setting up the idea that Don is slipping into serious alcoholism for a while: the reference marketing lady made about how much they drink at SCDP; the kid at the agency calling Don pathetic; the girl in his apartment building seeing him stumbling home

Gremlins 2. I saw it as a kid and enjoyed it, but I think I missed a lot of the jokes. I remember seeing it again as an adult and being surprised at how new it felt.

Yes. It doesn't make any sense given the fact that the Drapers have a dog. Polly would have discovered him immediately. But apparently she only lives at the Draper residence part of the time.

Angelus on Buffy was never that scary to me. Yes he did a few horrible things, but he seemed more about the bluster, the show, than action. He had to set up these elaborate scenarios to show everyone how bad he was and it got kind of goofy. After awhile, you started to wonder whether he'd ever just shut up and go on a

Oh and regarding Willow and Tara. I don't understand the criticism about them not having a mature, adult relationship. They're still kids. At this point in the show, they're both about 20 or 21. Were YOU having adult relationships at that age? A little silliness and cuteness is to be expected.

SPOILERS!

3 lesbians in 7 seasons of this show is hardly worth mentioning. And Tracy demonstrated she was far from spiteful. You're just mad that you have to look at a woman who is in no way a sexual object for you to enjoy.

I always felt sorry for him. Maybe it was the slightly too hopeful smile, at judging, or the way he visibly sagged whenever he landed in the bottom 3. Or maybe it was because he's a wee thing, vulnerable…like a shaved bunny.

You guys are acting like lying is a bad thing.

Hubris is why. Anyone who goes on a reality show has it in spades. And chefs have big egos. and are control freaks. So it shouldn't be surprising that people are eager to run the show in Restaurant Wars, even if it pretty much guarantees you'll get fucked over somehow. Everyone thinks, "Not me. I'll be the one who

Only a commie bastard would know that. Get him!
