I’m already seeing the comments, so let’s be clear about something here:

“Cancel Culture” did not kill Alec Holowka. We don’t yet have the full picture of how he died, but it sounds as if he died by suicide, and had been suffering from a host of psychological and personal difficulties prior to that final, tragic act.

No

Seems weird that you think there’s joy in this when all you do is angrily lash out against anyone that dare criticize your beloved right wing values.

@ Codahz

Ah yes the low skilled lazy poor person argument

Thanks for saying, “nuh uh!” to me with a few more words. Great insight, much appreciated.

In many areas Walmart jobs may be the only full-time work available. Hell, even in areas that have other jobs that may be the only work some people are qualified for. And no, not everyone has the financial resources to move to get skill training.

My wife is a massage therapist. She’s paid on commission and works only when she has a scheduled massage, which she finds out from an app. She’s classified as an employee.

It might shock you but the majority of drivers are the ones asking for protections of bills like AB5. Seems like they’re taking responsibility just not in the way that you like. Also, there’s no way the rideshares are leaving their very large home markets. Let’s not be silly here.

Friggin seriously. Some jackass always makes this claim – while completely ignoring the fact that these companies actively encourage this behavior AND the ridership volume the NEED in order to keep meeting their growth requirements are mostly built on the existence of these drivers. As if college kids driving an hour

This notion is predicated that Uber and Lyft did not massively benefit from the full-time drivers. You can’t reap the rewards of someone using your platform in a manner in which you made no attempt to limit or dissuade - on the contrary, encouraged - and then throw your hands in the air and say “well I didn’t intend

1. What the fuck are you talking about? 2. Fuck off.

Why should she be required to keep deepfake gifs of herself being raped? On her own timeline? Where the world can see? Jesus wept.

yeah, it’s generally pretty easy to sucker people like you into defending white supremacists with that line.

Fuck off, Tomato.

Note that the more in charge she got, the less interested he was.  He may still be mystified by his sudden lack of interest... but it’s pretty obvious from his description.  She didn’t allow him to take the role of the aggressor, so suddenly it wasn’t sexy anymore.

He’s with us, Leather.

Oooooh, a different flavor of whatabout. Almost refreshing.

The Wave Election was a referendum on Trump. The dems who won were swept in with the idea they would be a check on him.

Amazon is a company that’s currently defying any employees who attempt to unionize.

So yeah, I say fuck them. It’s either employees get laid off or they get exploited in those situations. Not that other studios don’t do this, but it’s not like I support the practice in other cases - and Amazon entering the market will
