Trump ran a horrible campaign. He was obviously a horrible candidate. Yet he still won the Electoral College vote. He only lost the popular vote due to California. Why? What did the Democrats do or fail to do that resulted in their not getting more votes? It has nothing to do with Trump, he was horrible.

Where is this “death of democracy?” Election in the U.S. are not based on the popular vote. Until that changes, the concept of popular vote is nothing more then a data point.
