Same thing happened to me three days ago. I just got a whole bunch of MS points free from a Microsoft presentation at a tech convention, and when I went to use them on my Xbox, my account was wiped clean.

My melodramatic response...
well, her PC is too slow, and mine does too much travel. Plus, staring at the laptop screen for the next 30 days, when Netflix has all but usurped cable, is a bit of a buzzkill.
Apparently it's the new policy.
Oh but I did. Oh, but they said no, they don't do that.
This is funny because my Xbox 360 was hacked... someone bought Rift for the PC with Xbox Live points. Funnier still because I have 30 years experience in computers and a fairly robust security system on my pc (current redundant scan is at 87% and no problems).
yuuuuuuuuuup
Wow... according to this commercial, speaking to my Xbox and summoning action shows will impress and woo attractive women to sit next to me.
One dickbag down, 2 million to go.
I agree, but at those price points, we are Netflix' best customers, bringing in a lot of margin on both sides of their business. That's also the majority of their subscribers. How many are going to make the choice of one or the other? Or leave the door open now to competition? That's a big pie, with margins sliding on…
The future of streaming depends on reliable pipes of data. ATT and Verizon have a tiered structure that isn't conducive to streaming. Comcast and others have their own services, and haven't invested in the infrastructure or consumer practices to ensure that Netflix consumers will see an increase in quality if/when…
My usage of this map convinced my friends that I had sealed an unholy pact with Halo 2, carving the logo into my body somewhere, sealing the oath in blood.
Not gonna lie.
I wish they'd get their house in order. For the past month, my friend and I's nightly shootathon in Halo or Call of Duty has been interrupted with dropped games, Xbox Party quits, and other random occurrences that harsh our mellow.
Ya know what? I'll forgive "extremist fuckers" because they were extremist fuckers, and sometimes in the purpose of writing as in life, sometimes you just need to nut. In a proud New York tradition, they are fuckers all.
A final note... TV already is on demand, in terms of its content. The actual timing of a show is suspect, but that's not an impasse so much as it is financing (advertising dollars pay for shows, and more shows). Cut out the premiums gained by prime time ad buys, and our shows will have even more Kardashian than…
The reason people want Madden?
The amount of jobs lost won't be measured in superstars or cable executives, it will be lost in the communities and restaurants and mortgages and rents and payments of the crews, staff, and anyone who remotely benefits from the season of NFL. That includes restauranteurs, bars, shopping complexes, stadium workers,…
Don't really have a whole lot of animus towards game creators. I do, however, strongly dislike everything Blizzard has ever made (and I've tried them all at one time or another). As a matter of preference, they do not make games I like or have ever liked. But I can appreciate what they do, how they do it, both in terms…
Total Recall indeed. These are the stuffs that dreams were made of. Playing stories, letting my mind fill in all the blanks, games as magical creations hiding behind nonsensical to incredibly inspiring box arts.
