This is the guy who did have got the job. He’s got the looks, the voice, the delivery, everything. Puzzling how this guy wasn’t their go-to first choice?

Yeah, I liked pretty much everything in the trailer, except that they expect us to believe that guy is Han Solo. It’s one thing not to look (or even sound) like Ford, but there needs to be some sort of recognisable vocal or physical tic or facial expression or something and I just don’t see it.

I suspect that regardless of who was cast to play young Han, fans would find fault with it, simply because it isn’t Harrison Ford.

There is pretty much nothing Harrison Ford-like about Alden other than a slight passing visual resemblance.

The delivery did leave quite a bit to be desired

The line did.. but not the delivery. Harrison Ford had a deeper, gravelly voice even in his 30's.. Alden is just not pulling it off. Surely there was a more capable actor out there somewhere?

He probably smells a bit like cheap cologne, booze, and Wookiee.
